It was apparent yesterday that you answered every other post but mine yesterday just by looking at the time. So what has the team of engineers come up with? Has there been any progress made?

We have not looked at this issue yet, considering our workload and list of priorities this one is not high on the list. It was done this way initially due to size restrictions and the fact that the data viewer software can be used instead.
We will most likely look at this when another update for the U7194 is required(which right now would be header tunes for C6).
But those are the facts and we are currently working on many things and we do have to prioritize our projects.
I personally always use the Predator with my laptop and stream to it while in the car/truck.

Is the Z06 possibly reporting some extra data that is occupying space on the Diablosport's log? Sounds like its a memory capacity issue. Would be interesting to check the capacity of the same Diablosports having issues on another non Z06. Oh and if anyone needs me to log some time behind the wheel of a Z06 (all in the name of helping out the people with problems of course...:-) I'd be more than happy to donate some of my time....

How do you hook up the Predator to a laptop, and do you need some type of custom s/w to log the data?

Tnx,

Mike

Using the same cables you would use to update the tool, you plug the tool into the car and connect it to the PC and open up the dataviewer software.
The software will take remote control of the unit and begin streaming data.

So i need to spend another thousand or so dollars so my preditor can log data? Why wasn't this brought up when I bought it? Nice customer service admitting this is not a priority. What happened to the bench testing it right now?

they did bench test it, to verify the short logging-time issue - then they added it to their list of "to-do's" and prioritized the fix accordingly.

You don't HAVE to spend a thousand dollars for a laptop... dell and gateway have some in the 500's... Circuit City has some starting at $399... and I'm sure eBay has some for even less... or borrow one from work/a friend until they get the issue resolved.

Thanx. Will give it a try. Is the data captured? If so, how do I play it back?

the data can be saved as a .log file from within the Dataviewer, and it will also export it to a .csv file so you can then open it up in Excel and go through the data (I find this easier to view the data).

With the .log file/data opened up in the Dataviewer app, there's a play button/arrow that will playback the data via gauges or a timeline.
