Registered just for this. :) Been waiting a long time to log.

Questions.

Will this update wipe out my ability to turn off the rear O2 sensors when running LT headers?

What other things will I lose the ability to change?

yes, you will lose the ability to disable the rear O2 codes... you will need to get a custom tune created (for free) to have those disabled.

they had to remove the ability to disable anything emissions related, due to EPA regulations...

Is this a temporary program

Post by cruiser787904 »

Is this a program that will be around for awhile or a one time shot kind of deal. I have SLP tuner and am not sure if I need the logging and all that jazz at this point so I figured I would have some fun with it and learn what it can do before I send it in...

Any advice would be great.
Thanks,
Nick

Slow RMAs... and no email support.

Post by ccoder32 »

I sent my unit in (RMA 8134) 11/17/2008 and still have not gotten it back.
I called the RMA phone number for Brian Kenig (561) 691-2437 and followed the instructions to email [email protected] but still no response.
Is this delay normal? I am starting to feel like a sucker and lost my $99+S/H

Thanks for your time and response,

Kind regards,

Jim R

I second that question....any ideas?

Is there a deadline for this $99 upgrade? I have a U7193 2.xx and just bought an 05 Tahoe. Will this work on the 05 Tahoe w/o the upgrade?

Thanks,
Scott

Generally you get the tool back within 14 business days from the time we receive it.

This program will be in place for some time yet.

Mike you did a custom tune for my 2003 yukon denali that had the low speed tranny shifting from 1st-2nd problem. The custom tune has been working great and thanks for your efforts on that. If I send in my u-7195 What unit will i get sent back and will I be able to get another custom tune for the tranny issue? Thanks.

A simple email reply would be great. I'm going on 60 days without getting my device back (See RMA number for my personal detail).
You guys have always had great service, but no replies to email and getting the voice mail every time I call is not cool.
