your stock timing should be 10 degrees so id make sure that is what its set to and try a higher octane fuel. also change the plugs asap. check your spark advance setting on the predator and make sure the number is 0 and not plus or minus anything. if still not fixed id call the tech line if you dont get any additional responses. i know theres a lot of guys on here that know more than me so hopefully theyll chime in.

how do i check what degrees my car is at, are those the numbers i mentioned earlier that came up on the tuner while logging... the highest actane around here is 91, even with 91 octane it still doesnt work, should i try some octane boost or something??? The settings on the predator all say 0 for spark advance, but since iv also been reading around this forum that if you cant get 93 octane where you live, you should retard the SRK ADV by two degrees so that it can run the 93 octane tune that the predetor comes with, should i still leave the settings to 0???

and please anybody that can help please do!!!!

if it says 0 now then i would try retarding the timing a little at a time and see if it goes away. the timing may have been set incorrectly before you got the car, but try retarding it first...

I'm runnin a BBK CAI in the fender also have a 70mm TB....u7146 Pred 93 Oct Perf tune, car runs quick and sounds great, check the installation, sounds like your either leaned out or timing is way off. Could be many things...MAF prob? Idle ok?

check, the fuel filter maybe its clog, and not enough gas is making it into the engine. just a thought

does it make the knocking all the time? or only on idle, slow acceleration, or highway speeds?

eres de puerto rico de casualidad?

I already replaced the fuel filter, it usually does it all the time,i cant really tell if it does at highway speeds since i cant really hear it over the flowmasters, sometimes when im at a complete stop it starts to do that and i can hear like a hss hss hss kinda sound but that most of the time only does it for a minute or so then just goes away and comes back later i think it might just be the fan though, i can olso hear a ticking sound from the engine, and when its cold you can hear that ticking through the mufflers, but usually only when its cold.

Y no chico yo soy de Cancun, X ke la pregunta???

Your problems started after your mod install? If so I would check there for a unmetered air leak. You should also check your TP voltage and make sure it is below 1 volt you can do that with your Predator. I know the TP is not adjustable but you can loosen the screws and adjust it a little bit. If you didnt have this issue before your mod install you might want to put the factory stuff back on and see if you still have a issue. If you want to use your Predator 93 octane tune you will have to retard your timing settings for WOT maybe as low as -10% in both RPM ranges. You state you have limited knowledge of cars you might want to consider having these mods professionally installed.

the sound coming from the engine was noticable before i installed anything, after i did the flowmasters the sound got louder, while trying to figure that out i discovered that my intake manifold was cracked at the bottom so i replaced it with an typhoon intake manifold, i didnt want to install another factory plastic one, thinking that that was my problem all along. after the manifold install the sound quieted down some but not much, you could still tell it was there pretty easily, after the exhaust install is when it got louder again like before i did the manifold change and it hasnt changed since
