I have tuned a couple of trucks with that valve body and left the shift settings like the canned tunes with no issues.

thanx johan and quick i appreciate the info. im so new to the truck scene i had a 01 audi a4 before this and never owned an automatic in my life so the whole transmission thing is new to me. i feel alot more comfortable going with the mods in the order i have planned after the tranny comes the ported throttle body with spacer and then the big valve heads and spartan max cam and that will be getting professionaly tuned by a cmr tuner. and actually one more thing on the 05 dodge ram 1500 it has the clutch fan and i will be installing the E-fan with a 180 thermostat what coolant temp should i set the fan to come on. and i swear thats the last question for this post. agian thanx for the patience and info.

Will the E-fan use the factory pcm for fan on/off settings?

no its the flex a lite fan with controller

thanx johan hey do you guys do custom tunes cause there are lots of authorized dealers here but none of them tune they only sell predators. pretty annoying. one of them tunes fords and thats it.

southern Maryland closest one is in Virginia ,dyno tuned performance, actually considering going out there they have a dyno day for a good deal.
