how to get stock tune after installing a perf tune

what is it you're trying to get your original backup tune on your pc for anyway??

He got the backup.
He thought it was uploading the 93 tune for some reason, but it was uploading the stock tune the whole time.

Hey 06,
Pure unadulterated paranoidism. Just as a "what if" insurance in case the Predator
is stolen, broken, malfunctions, ... .
I spoke with Mike from DS yesterday, and apparently the Predator defaults to the
stock tune, so I actually have had it all along, when I thought I was downloading
the 93 tune.

yep, I hear ya...

but, even if it was stolen, broken, etc etc... there's no way to get your stock original tune back onto a predator from that file and have it be stored in a predator as the "original backup" tune in it anyway... heh...

only way it's able to do that is to be hooked up to the car and it saves it out directly from the ECM...

if you load that tune file into a predator, it becomes a "Custom Tune", and not the "original backup" tune that you'd be able to restore your car with...
