Unfortunately no, what do you need 7r50d for?

Hey Mike, I would like to get the obd options back. I have had this predator for almost two years and I have ran the 7r50d for the entire time and i finally put my exhaust kit on and need my obd options. This was my first update from 7r50d and the only reason I tried it was because other users stated they were able to downgrade back otherwise I would have just stayed with 7r50d. Is there a way to force a reboot because My unit says that download was successfull but it never reboots it just stays on( installing bootloader) but it will reload the new 907rb every time. Man I am sorry about bothering you about this kind of stuff I love the product and would be happy just to revert back to stock crom.

Thank You,
Bryan

The 7r50d tune according to my data logs only gave me 17 degrees total of timing @ WOT. My custom tune which is based on my mods and the latest reversion allows up to 26 degrees and falls to 21 degrees as rpm raises. Also my WOT fuel was closer according to my wideband o2 data. I am curious why you need the EGR delete since the valve is closed @ WOT and allows NOX to cool your intake charge to help prevent detonation in part throttle closed loop situations as for the o2 you can make you own MIL eliminators they are easy and inexpensive.

I'm wanting to block it off because I have replaced the DPFE, EGR Solinoid, the EGR Valve, made sure the tube was clean, and checked the vaccum lines and the lines going to the DPFE and the car still doesn't run good until you block the vaccum going to the EGR valve itself then the car runs fine. When the EGR is connected it wants to misfire and spit and spudder when you are cruising. So I was just going to buy a delete kit and turn the engine light off with the programmer. If anyone knows any other way to fix it without deleting it, I would love any suggestions.

DPFE, EGR Solinoid, the EGR Valve, I googled your parts came up with this link.
Seems like there is a EVR solenoid in this diagram. Have you check that? I google a EVR solenoid for a 2003 mustang and came up with this info hope it helps. http://www.moddedmustangs.com/forums/99 ... stion.html From the '03 factory shop manual:

EGR Vacuum Regulator Solenoid

The EGR vacuum regulator solenoid (EVR), (Figure 90) is an electromagnetic device which is used to regulate the vacuum supply to the EGR valve. The solenoid contains a coil which magnetically controls the position of a disc to regulate the vacuum. As the duty cycle to the coil increases, the vacuum signal passed through the solenoid to the EGR valve also increases.Vacuum not directed to the EGR valve is vented through the solenoid vent to atmosphere. Note that at 0% duty cycle (no electrical signal applied), the EGR vacuum regulator solenoid allows some vacuum to pass, but not enough to open the EGR valve.

Hope this helps... just a thought after reading this I would also check the vent on the EVR solenoid if it can not vent to atmosphere it could pull the valve open.

I noticed that there was an orfice in the egr tube itself, if this was damaged could that cause the problem I'm having?

http://www.tomco-inc.com/Tech_Tips/ttt35.pdf After reading that, which I googled with Ford egr orifice tube. I would say yes to your question.

Yet another example of why Diablo should tell specifically what an upgrade does and note that it CAN NOT BE REVERSED.
Diablo should tell exactly what the changes in the upgrade are like WHAT CAIs have been eliminated from the program.
What the advantages and disadvantages are to the upgrade are?

Come on Diablo be responsible and professional here!

Which implies that they are better than the previous and maybe even necessary. But with the C&L intake fiasco you really missed the boat. I bought custom tunes from Doug but had I wanted I could have referred this matter to the US AG for interstate wire fraud.
No one, and I mean NO ONE can render a product or software inoperable if someone has paid for that product / software.
With your under the table deal with C&L you violated federal law.
I don't suppose you want to test this, do you ? I routinely deal with the US AG as well as State AG's all the time on issues just like this and have never yet lost a case.

Diablo MUST by law inform the end user of deletions to their software. Where is your EULA ?

No one rendered anything inoperable. Your Predator functions perfectly, just as it was intended to.
The fact that we threw in a bonus tune to support a CAI that we did not HAVE to do in the first place, then removed it, is a far cry from rendering it inoperable.

Now, if we release an update that wont flash your car, then we'll talk about this, until then, moot point.

Also, this thread was relating to someone that was trying to take a new production tool and apply a revision that was created some 3 years ago, call Microsoft and try that.....I even tried helping him to see if we could get around it, but it will not work.

Back on subject, I want to thank Shaken for the helpful link. I found the problem to be a clogged hose going to the DPFE sensor. No custom tune needed anymore. I thank Diablosport for having these forums to get different views to problems and Vapor 7 needs to calm down alittle bit before they blow a gasket. :)
