jvmorgan,
Looks like we have very similiar setups,
I had the same issue and Monte and I worked for months.
Then I changed my actual tires from original 245/70/17 to 265/70/17. After several more adjustments I managed to get my speedo right on the money (until I go over 77mpg. then its startes to act up the faster I go the more it becomes off when I'm doing 105 it says 114 hehehe). But up until 77 mph. it is dead on.
What I found is even with new (larger) wheels I still had to stay close to my original wheel size when manually setting the tire sizes.
I'm running one of the 87 Diablew tunes with slight changes to it in the tire size. My tire size is set at 245/66/17 with the actual tires on the truck being 265/70/17.
Some weird **it with the 07 light issues, but I would try adjusting the tire % factor by one digit increments. Thats what I did with a GPS to get all set. I have two tire setting one for each tune The 87 oct. & another setting for the 93oct. custom tunes.
Don't give up you'll get it just be patient..
Let me know if I can help, but I see you've got the best man working with you already.

Quick reference on wheel sizes that are commonly misunderstood.
245/70/17
width / %of width / rim size.
First number is the width in MM the the second set is the height percentage to the width, then finally the rim size (inner diameter).

hmmm... just looked at your tune file you had posted jvmorgan...

the speed limiter is set correctly... it's using the correct calibration call.. speed limiter is set to 130mph...

so, you should not be hitting it at 98mph for sure...

This weekend I went out and re-installed the tune and had no problems since the whole weekend. So I don't know what happend but it is working now...hehe. Dschevy1 thanks for the encouragment I have been working on trying to get it all taken care of. If I have any questions I will give ya a shout. Yea when i get time I have been adjusting parameters here and there on the tire settings.

Thanks Monte for taking a look at it.

Haha that is such a painful joke. This weekend I am going to get to spend some time in the truck messing with the tire % and sizes. I need to do some logs also to double check my LTFTS. Tomorrow I am getting a shift kit, tranny cooler and fluid/filter change done on it tomorrow so it should be interesting to see how it drives after that.

After all of that is done Monte I think I am ready to have it transofrmed in to a runnin stripped ape as some of testimonials and others have said.
