Too much knock with this predator

Sounds fine to me. The DS tunes are pretty much set for ideal conditions. Ideal gas, no PCV oil blow by, etc. They're not too aggressive so the PCM can handle it when everything isn't ideal. Not many of us end up with ideal gas, or don't have catch cans, different CAIs, cat backs, etc. One way to compensate is throw fuel at it. Lots of people end up adding 10 to 15% or more. I think the DS tunes shoot for something around 12.6? Some people prefer to go for something between 11.8 and 12.2 . I wouldn't think twice about someone adding 16%.

Well cooler engine coolant temps need more fuel.......cooler intake temps need more fuel........in both case you could then go lean........so.......add more fuel.......catch can cleans up the intake track then add more fuel......................15-18% more fuel and LONG Term KNOCK retard is gone and SHORT TERM knock at the shifts. Rid the intake track of HOT underhood engine temps and ..........well.......... Works good here.
