MAP slope on that tune is 71.8. he in the right direction at least.

here's a 17.2BARO scale, 1 of the latest ones i've received.
how different is that .drg from the file 7 drg? and how much of a change in the slope affects its outcome?

just got 3 diff rescaled tunes to try out. he said this should do it, or be extremely close. I got school for another 6hrs (9am-10pm FTL) so ill update tomorrow.

tried all 3 rescales earlier. its not where it should be, but the baro keeps going the right direction.
he labeled the offset/slope in each rescale's description, and i wrote each files' slope/offset and compared them and noticed a pattern. i sent the following to my tuner's email just now.
i assume the slope is a linear line, so i hope my guess of what the slope should be is correct. I'll find out tomorrow when i receive an updated scale w/ 7.2OS and 58.58slope. should be pretty much dead on +/- 1point

Alrighty. i loaded them all. didnt get there, but we are moving in the right direction!
I think i figured out what the slope needs to be. here's the results...
13: 16.8BARO
14: 16.6BARO --- 2.5psi --- 7.2offset --- 68.58slope
15: 16.4BARO --- 2.2psi --- 7.2offset --- 67.58slope
16: 16.2BARO --- 2.0psi --- 7.2offset --- 66.58slope
soo it looks like for ever 1.00 value of slope decrease, it drops my BARO .2 even.
to keep the #'s even, lets say we want 14.6BARO...
16.2 - 14.6 = 1.6BARO difference.
for every .2 values of baro change it takes 1 full slope point decrease... so 1.6BARO/.2 = 8 FULL slope point decrease.
shoot me a few other rescales you'd want me to try...
but in addition send me a file w/ a 7.2offset --- 58.58slope ...i think that should do the trick if what my results are showing, hold true.That should give it a 14.6baro.
My dataviewer is STILL taking a long time to load. i used my aeroforce gauge for the above BARO and PSI readings. i let my dataviewer fully load on the last one (took 15min), and recorded baro and read 16.21 vs the 16.2 of the aeroforce gauge, so for the time being until we get the BARO dialed in, ill use the aeroforce gauge since its quick to use and accurate.

Looks like you're going in the right direction. Your logic makes sense. A slope 58.58 seems pretty low(3bar S2 is 61.) but who cares if its right. Just be sure your comparing it to the CURRENT baro pressure. Be sure BOTH MAP and TIP read the SAME with the Key-On Engine OFF.
Baro around here floats between 14.2-14.8psi depending on the weather. I suggested a separate independant gauge. Weather report will work too. I would suggest plugging in your old MAP and reflashing the stock tune to check Baro, but your wiring has been changed.
Once you get the Baro correct, double check a higher PSI also by doing a boost leak test to around 20psig.(TIP + baro~34psia), Key-on Engine off) Make sure its with in .5psi of the pressure gauge and/or boost gauge.
If the slope is RIGHT but the offset is really wrong, this higher psi reading will be wrong too. Its best to find out its wrong with the engine off than at 30psi of boost.
I could use a set of 3bar sensor if you're just throwing them out.

I'm wondering if it's because the mopar sensors are 0-5v output, and these are .5-4.5v?
I'll check the weather report for the baro, good heads up.
As for my 3bar sensors..sorry man, just sold both for 120 a few weeks ago. :/

im almost wishing i just stayed w/ the 3bars.

Since you didn't check to make sure your MAP scale was right, now all the work that went into the fuel trims was wasted and will have to be repeated was the MAP scale is fixed.

considering mindmelt got my fuel trims down to +/-3 w/in 2 tries from scratch, that isnt as much of a concern.
He knew before that anyways that my psi at WOT was 5psi off.

dont have a 4" boost leak tester, nor can i make one from HD/Lowes since the 4" rubber pipes have an ID of 4.25" too much play to tighten down and use effectively.

Get a Barometric pressure gauge or call the local weather man.
If your Baro PID says 14.33psi but the weatherman or Baro gauge says 14.79psi, tell Brain that the BARO is (14.79 - 14.33 = .46psi) .46psi off.

looked up weather for my town, and baro is 29.97in (mercury, i assume yes)
went to http://www.convertunits.com/from/inches ... bsolute%5D
and 29.97in equals out to 14.7198psi
14.7198-14.33 = .3898psi
is that linear, or how does that work in retrospect to the map scaling? because at upper psi, its off more at say, 20psi, than what it'd be at 5-10psi.
