I know some of us have the option for Pedal Position %, but the Challenger's don't and the Trucks may not either. Just something to keep in mindQuick wrote:. . .I usually use Pedal Position in my logs. Good enough to see when you go WOT or not. . .

Got a log with a couple better runs- one from a full stop (right at the beginning- might have been a little delay from when I hit the button though) and one from a relatively slow speed. Both were long enough, and started at a low enough speed to have a gear shift in them.
I'm a little confused by the runs though- got no knock, or at most 0.5 degrees ST in the lower gear, then after the gear shift it jumped up to 2 to 2.5 degrees ST and then gradually tapered down. Is this what it's supposed to be looking like? I was under the impression that it might spike to 2ish and then drop back off to 0 if everything is done right.
Thanks again for the help.

Here are my runs
2009 Dodge Ram Hemi 4X4
Laramie Here is my 3rd run at WOT after adding fuel at 4% 6% and 7%. Im running the 93 oct tune with 93 oct fuel.
I got rid of Long term knk completely. I'm still getting ST KNK and im going to try adding another %5 to the top 2 rpm ranges to see if that helps the ST KNK. So far I havent had to change the timming at all. I did raise the shiftpoint, rev limiter and the partial throttle upshifts.
anyway here is the log file

RE: Here are my runs
bump
Am I correct in that I should add fuel to get rid of the knock that I was seeing after the gear shift, even though I didn't see much, if any, knock in the lower gear?

RE: Here are my runs
Random question, which gauges did you use for each parameter? I'm tuner illiterate, so I'm trying to learn. Any suggestions on a place to learn more about what I want from each parameter?
Re: RE: Here are my runs
I don't use any of the gauges- I strongly prefer the charts because it allows me to see much more detail, and also a progression over time for each of the parameters. With the gauges, you can only see that one instant in time, which can make it much more difficult to spot whatever it is you're looking for.Oosik wrote:Random question, which gauges did you use for each parameter? butch1581: I'd check the graphs again, but if you're only seeing 2 degrees max of ST KNK, and it's dropping off immediately to 0, you're in good shape. From what I've heard, the goal is to get to there, with that spike only happening around gear shifts.
To post logs, use the "Add an Attachment" section under where you would type your post. You have to be on the regular editing page to see this, you won't see anything in the thread under "Quick Reply".
To download somebody else's logs, right click the Download link, and click "Save Target As". Then you can change the file name if you want, and click save. Then you should be able to open the file from DataViewer.
RE: Re: RE: Here are my runs
Any luck getting the knock to go away on the 87 tune? I'm running 89 octane and switched back to stock because I'm worried about engine damage.

That mentions you change the spark to lower knock, or do you change the fuel?
