2005 cummins injector knock

i reed the above post the other day, when i use to run the u7131 i always left it on performance, after learning extreme will fry a stock tranny. anyways, i installed it put it on tow and mine did this same thig in park or in drive if you tap the foot feet i mean just enough for it to jump to 1200rpm real quick when it comes down it sounds like a injector knock. it does not do this with the other settings.

Yep, same thing with mine, I noticed it directly after programming the extreme setting.

2005 Ram 2500 5.9 predater tuner.
i also have the knocking. when i tap the fuel in neutral and it idles down either my pump or my injectors are doing it, i cant tell. @ 65 horse it does not do it but at 100 horse it does witha little bit of a rough idle. and going down a steep hill at interstate speeds the truck has a lunge to it. i tunes it back down to 65. i dont know it this knock will hurt my truck or not. does anybody know anyhting about it? this also happened after tuning. it never did it before

you know its been 4 months since ive posted this thread. an input from the guys at diablo would be nice. ive had the tuner out of my truck since ive posted this and if i have to wait any longer for a reply then i guess its going in the trash.

Ive never heard of any problems caused by this issue.

There have been a few complaints of it, but no reports of any damage.

my 05 3500 5.9 h.o ctd also does this, have it be in any tune...tow, performance, extreme, when in park or neutral if i rev it will take off on me and maintain a high idel even when i release my foot from the pedal, it seems ok up until around 1000 rpm then it just does what ever it wants. i scanned the truck while doing this, seems rail pressure will spike and maintain a high pressure for 1-3 min and then demish to normal pressures. i took the predator completly out, when oem programed i can rev right to 3000 rpm and let off and it will drop to idel as it should. the predator im assuming with timing advancement and increased fuel duration and pressures plays a large role in why our trucks act this way.
