U7194- can't update to 9r.12

will 9r13 or 9t14 work on the older tool

i have an older 7194 as well (came with 8r07)... I'm wondering the same thing as well...

If 9r11 did not work, nothing newer will....

Why are they still sending out r11's, if no good, i just must be confused or is it year end sales drive, sure cant be... should i try a another version?

If the door is gonna get shut in our faces after we already got snubbed on TCM support, let me know before everybody finds out and I can get rid of my Predator. I have no use for an extra doorstop.

waiting 2 years for tcm support and now were at a dead end for revisions without it. WHY WOULD YOU MAKE THESE NEW REVISIONS NOT WORK WITH OUR OLDER TOOLS. ITS NOT LIKE MINE IS 7 YEARS OLD. ITS NOT EVEN 2 ALONG WITH THE TRUCK IT IS BEING USED ON.. THANKS FOR THE 2 YEARS OF WAITIN FOR CAL ID UPDATES AND ALL THE OTHER REVISIONS YOU TOOK AWAY AND RELEASED BECAUSE YOU SCREWED THEM UP IN THE FIRST PLACE.

Looking into the option of a hardware upgrade like we have done for other part number tools...

OK, please fill out an rma request and state that the tool can not load the latest crom file and I will get it taken care of.

Same goes for anyone else in this boat, assuming your tool is still under the 2 year warranty.

Mine was purchased 11/04/2007...2 years and 2 months ago.

This would imply that I am "out of warranty".

Am I out in the cold?

Just received my 7194. It has 9r11 installed. Haven't used it yet but I'm going to install on an 09 Suburban with 5.3l. Do I need to try to upgrade to 9r13 or do I need to go back to a version before 9r11? Thanks for the help.
