From their RMA form it looks like it is covered by the $99 hardware upgrade fee but Mike would be better a authority on the cost for you situation.

It seems that I may have run into this same problem with the cal id's not being supported. I just purchased this in November so it should be under warranty, i hope. Hope their is another fix to this problem as my predator is only a few months old.

your issue is different. You have the newer hardware, hence you were able to update to 9R14. This topic concerns older units that had hardware with less space in them and could not take the newer/larger crom updates.
