I have no idea man... that's a loaded question heh..

will my tune be much better than the canned preset diablo tune?? - absolutely!!

will you get better performance/hp/tq from my tune than the preset diablo tune?? - absolutely!!

will you beat your buddy?? - dunno, do you have a baseball bat??

too many variables there... he's not stock, but not tuned - BUT, what mods DOES he have - he could not be tuned, but still have enough mods on there where he could still beat ya...
it all depends on how close you are now if you run him...

also, depends on the drivers of the vehicles...

heh...

I'd like to tell ya, flat-out, that yes - with my tune you would beat him... but I'm not gonna do that - like I said, too many variables in play...

(now where the hell's that damn submit button??!!)

and he's got a 5.7L... dunno if you'd take that with your 4.8L...

but you'll definitely be closer than you are right now... and who knows, if you get the jump on him, maybe... but the lead wouldn't last for long, heh...

ya i dont even try right now cuz hes got so much more hp than i do cuz if i can get close wit him i can be a ton than

oh and is the predator the top programmer to buy or is there a better one or does it not matter if u get the custom tune

oh i found out that it say something about i need an interface kit so when i buy the programmer will i reallly need to buy that as well ?

does it matter if i buy a used programmer as long as it has the tune on it if so could u point me in the rght direction to buy one

I wouldn't buy a used one... a LOT of people get screwed when they buy it used from like ebay, then you get it and find out it's still locked to the persons vehicle because they didn't restore the original backup to their car - then you're screwed and can't use it on yours. plus, you don't know how old it is - could be the older version of the tool that does not do data logs, has older version tunes in it, you will not have a warranty, etc etc... buy it brand new!

you can find a good deal on it here: http://concoursdirect.com/99gmgasveprp.html -- you'll get the brand new version of the tool, it will be updated already to the latest revision, you'll have the full 2 year warranty, will be able to save/record data logs, etc etc.

and also get the usb pc interface kit - you will need that in order to connect the predator to your pc so that you can download data logs, so you can import/export tune files for when you want to get a custom tune for your vehicle, etc etc.
