Issues with my 7131......

If so the government has mad all manufactures add SOOOO much crap that any programer who figures it all out is genius in my book!

I have the 06 with the shift on the fly...no problems as of yet 8k miles with the predator 30k on truck...I think the newer trucks have a TON of extra bull on them...I was a ford man for years....the 7.3 was the awsome...then came the 6.0.after 11 times in the shop FORD paid me back all i spent for the truck...I then got a 03,7.3 back in 05.200k the trany went out on a trip with 5 motorcycles in the truck and a toy hauler full behind it.Pulled in and got the used dodge...Thinking it would be old school.NOPE...clutch problem,no start yesterday.....I am just saying the more new stuff they add the worse it realy is!

YA I ORDERED THIS TRUCK LUCKLY I GOT IT BEFORE THE 6.7 WERE AVL. I THINK IM GOING TO LOOK FOR OTHER OPTIONS WITH PROGRAMMERS.

I feel your pain but I just haven't run anything that feels so smooth as this programmer. I have been running the stack tunes along w/ the puck for the last couple days and I'm thinking about going back to the Extreme RKL non-stack tune. It just feels so much better. I'm also getting a Quadzilla rail pressure guage to monitor things a bit better. The rail pressure is my only concern while running that tune. I've already got all the other guages.
I ran a Quadzilla race box before this and could easily hit 1500 degrees on a hard pull. With the Predator I barely get above 1200 degrees. It's gonna be hard to walk away from that.

ya i hear that i love the power but tired of the headaces and the adviser on the site really don;t know really how to fix this.then they took away the nice things like adj on the fly thats one of the reasons i bought it but i guess good thing don;t last long.

hey guys i have bin watchin these forums and still have yet to decide on what to get!but listening to you guys makes me hesitate. on the stack tunes do yall have any issues? and how often r these problems comming up? thanks!

I got a buddy with the Edgewith juse...My truck blows by him at any speed...they are the same truck 06 6speed trucks. he has had tosend his unit back to edge 2 times in the last 6 months...
and the one i got still works on the fly! so i'm happy!

My truck feels sooooo much better on the non-stack tunes. The bottom end is 10 times better........
I don't know if I will turn my Puck back on any time soon.

Got the CEL again today!!! This time I checked the code with the key since the Predator will still not read codes. The code was a P0299 which is a low boost code that causes the engine into limp mode. After doing some reasearch I have discovered that it is probably not directly related to the predator although something in the programming is bringing it out. It seems to be a common problem when adding a larger turbo on some trucks and usually shows up on startup or in low boost situations like driving around the neighborhood. I will have to contact HTT and see if they can help me......
