Thats fast for a 5.7. Maybe you got a better ET because of the traction control. I assume you left it on with the modified factory tune. Chrysler says you will run a better time with the traction control on.

So they say that. Thats 100% wrong, myself and many others on Challengertalk.com / forum will say and prove diffrrent. I have been to the track many time with this car and others. When traction control is on sure no spin, and also no power the TCM meters the power WAY down at the same time the brakes control spin, by applying them. Yes I do have a loose converter. And makes a world of diffrence the way the car runs it was a 12.77 my mistake on the .70 My car stays in the MAX powerband right from the time I go WOT and never drops below 4000 rpm and I use 1-2nd 3rd and cross at 4500 rpm.
At the Dyno I got a whole 6 to 8 hp MAX with any of the DS canned tunes. Now I want to recheck the tune against the stock tune, just to see. Give me a week and Ill post it.

Thats interest, Im really curious with what you find on the dyne with your 2006 300 srt8? running the stock tune, vs cai 91 and the diablo tunes. I just installed on my 2006 srt8, and am happy to have finally got it working after hours of dealing with errors with the programer. Using torco octane boost to raise the 92 octane fuel that we have here in Wa.
