Nevermind, i attempted the 9r12 and received the serial flash error as well. There a way to get that fixed besides re-entering the 08 version and stayin with it?

9r08 is the only fix.

My U7186 for my 06 Duramax had rev20. I tried to update it to 9r12.
I downloaded 2.2.1.9exe and the 9r12.crom file
I followed the instructions, returned original program, plugged in my Dynex DX-UBDB9 serial to USB. The program recognized my predator and started the update. It loaded to 8195 of 8207 packets and froze for a few minutes

I am having the same problem, can you send me the 9r08 crom?

Thanks,
Doug

Attempted to go to 9r12 today prior to reading this. I have the same issue. However, I still had 9r11 and successfully restored it. I am curious as to whether or not I should go back to 9r08 as the others have? If so, please send. Thx, jeff

I just saw the download available on another thread for 9r08 so I don't need it sent. However, I am still curious if I should be running 9r08 rather than 9r11 if I have 9r11 successfully running?

I have tried updating my programmer to the new crom.
downloaded downloader twice thinking it was the problem. Rebooted the pc, but it gets to a reboot screen and it always gives me the missing or corrupt error.
Tried the 9r09 crom it tells me to do.

can you send me 9r08 crom so I can fix mine as well?
