2008 Dodge Ram 1500 high idle at start

well i couldnt get it to load on the tool, i get a message saying choose a back up file, when i choose either my stock one or the modified one i wrote it says it doenst match your new one, if i choose yours as the backup too, it says its identical and loads, but then out in my truck it says the vin numbers are mismatched? not sure whats happening, will look into more myself but any ideas? man i was so excited too:(

it said something about one was an AI and one was an AC, if that helps you at all?

i get "tune file does not match calid id, tuen file is 0509455ac and back up is05094505ai, find the correct file back up for this tune or use an origianl backup file downloaded from the tool to create a new tune"?? hopefully my original is still in the truck, cause it didnt write the new one and i didnt rewrite mine to the truck, just escaped out back to performance toon menu and upluged it, my truck starts and runs so i assume its still the same

post your current backup file from your tool, and a copy of the last tune written after you install the canned tune to the truck.

thats wierd mike, my post above yours where i copied the error has a completly different number, but on my pc it has the same number as the other ones, thats the only 3 i have saved on my pc, not sure where that odd number is coming from

no thats the one, i just cliicked on that link to save and it say it already exists do i want to overwrite it, i clicked yes and i can try again i guess, i only have 3 tunes on my pc, my original, the modified, and the new one from you, all have the same numbers so i dont know where that other number is coming from

infact looking at the 3 i posted a few posts ago, they all came from my pc, and the 3dr one is the one from john, so i know its right, going to try again and see what happens

oaky tried it again and same thing, i click on the one from john and then choose my origianl as a backup and i get that error like i wrote in the post at 142 pm....so then i tried to choose my original modified one as the back up and i get a differnet messsage saying "the ORI file type i trying to load does not match the backup file type, please chenge the file type" or something like that, i even re downloaded the last one writtn from the tool to be sure the tool is okay and it is still my modified one, so i got to think its something wrong with the file from john?, or something else totally wacky is happening, i dont think im doing anything wrong...whats going on? john maybe you can redo that modified and repost it or something? or try and test it yourself somehow if you can? im stumped

thanks, maybe one of you guys can try and save my original backup from a few posts ago, then try and load the new tune from john and use mine as the backup and see if you get the same message, my only other thought is to make a vid of my computer screen and show you start to finish whats happening, it almost seems as if the actual flie on the new tune doesnt match the name, it has the same name as mine from my tuner as far as numbers, but like mentioned earlier the dsdownloader shows a complerlty differnt number when trying to use it....wacky
