what is the custom tune file???
It was a tune that Mike sent me. I sent it back to him yesterday evening so he could have the engineers check it out. He told me he might see an issue with something. I'll post it here for you to look at too, along with my backup.

ok.. now THAT original backup file works!! that first original backup file you had and posted, is no good... so make sure you delete that one from your pc...
this "latest" original backup file you posted, is good.. no errors... so make sure you use THAT one when you go to import the custom tune to the tool...
I have re-created the custom tune file for ya, using that new "latest" original backup file...
here ya go:

I installed the tune, but it's running a bit worse, as in even more limp mode driving. Is it going to take a while of steady highway driving for the computer to learn the new tune?

here ya go....
give this one a whirl....
make sure you get it imported into the tool correctly... cuz if you don't, then it won't install to the truck correctly either - you'll end up actually installing the original backup stock tune to the truck instead of the custom tune...
after you get it imported to the tool and installed to the truck, hook back up to your pc and get a new copy of the new "last tune written" file and post it up, so I can compare it to make sure it matches the custom tune file correctly...
