HI Mike,
Thanks for getting involved in this thread again. I’m posting up to try to get answers to some problems and questions that were left in limbo for a while. It appears others are having the same issue.
Let’s jump back to the prior posts and review the original problems that you said your programmer was working on fixing after receiving my CAL ID.
The APP values are labeled as RPM so it’s very confusing to see an RPM value of 8000-11000 when adjusting shift points in a vehicle that will never get about 5500.
1-2 @ 10% APP – default at 5087.83 rpms adjustable to 6000 rpms. Adjustability appears to work.
1-2 @ 15% APP – default at 8159.73 rpms adjustable to 6000 rpms? When I move the cursor one click to the right to increase the shift point if drops from the default of 8159.73 to 6000 rpms. This doesn’t make sense. Adjustability does not work.
1-2 @ 25% APP – Shows 11807.62 as default rpm. Move cursor one click to right to increase shift point and it drops from 11807 to 6000 rpms. This setting doesn’t appear to work.
1-2 @ 8% APP – 4511.85 default adjustable to 6000 rpms. This setting appears to work.
2-3 @ 10% APP – 1015.33 default adjustable to 6000 rpms. This setting appears to work.
2-3 @15% APP – 2244.42 default adjustable to 6000 rpms. This setting appears to work.
2-3 @25% APP – 4221.60 default adjustable to 6000 rpms. This setting appears to work.
2-3 @ 35% APP – 6092 default adjustable to 6000 rpms? When I move the cursor one click to the right to increase the shift point it drops from 6092 to 6000. This setting appears not to work.
3-4 Shift (OD) - There is no control or adjustability for this setting. You will find this setting most desirable to Wrangler auto drivers because it likes to shift into OD at 40 mph when light on the throttle. This really bogs the engine. If I would've known this was not adjustable I probably would've never purchased because this was my main concern. I asked about this control previously in this post and never received a definitive answer:
http://diablosport.com/index.php?name=P ... rangler+od
So to make a long story long… My Wrangler shift points are only partially adjustable with confusing rpm parameters and no OD adjustability. I think you can understand my frustration and hopefully you guys can come up with some sort of solution. I know these things take time. Ive been very patient for the last 6 months of owning the Predator

the display showing the wrong value to start is just that, a display issue, but as long as it corrects to a proper value once you move it it should be fine.
Can you add say 10% to all of the shift points, load the tune, then export the last tune written and post it here?
Thanks

Here is my tune file. Remember 1-2 @ 15%, 1-2 @25% and 2-3 @35% didnt have the correct adjustability. They all dropped to a 6000 default when I tried to increase the shift point. All others were increased approximately 200 rpms/OSS. Any comment on the 3-4 shift adjustability?
Thanks,
Ryan

I'm assuming you received the tune file with no problems? Any updates on progress? Still curious on the 3-4 shift question from above.

I hate to keep asking but will this update include 3-4 (OD) shift control for the Wrangler? Any hints on time-frame for updates?

Mike,
When will this revision be available (is there a beta) and will it include additional shifting perameters (3-4 shift) for all vehicles associated with the U7137 (I have a Jeep Overland)?
Thanks.

this can be done easier via a custome tune. the oss numbers in the tool are screwy and if you mess them up you will cook your trans.
