It must be a chrysler, dodge, jeep thing. The intune wont take the original tune from your vehivle before it will allow you to tune. Were the only ones with this known (-5) code so far.

I think the frustration is the lack of information coming back our way other than "we are working on it". It is getting close to two weeks for some of us. Your post about it being a chrysler problem is the first we have heard of it being narrowed down even though I hypothesized this was the case a couple of days ago in another thread. Also I know ToDieFor, ramshaw and I have been very active in offering to help. Maybe if you posted up what you want us to do as far as contacting you guys via phone or what info to post to help get this problem solved it would speed the process up.
On the other side to everyone with this problem remember there has been a holiday in the middle of this and as much as we want to play with our new toy it hasn't been that long since the problem was discovered if you take the weekends out. Post up your info in these two threads and try to help. It sucks when a situation is out of your control but getting negative won't make it go any faster.
My 2 cents for what it's worth.
I hear ya man, and I agree... after reading all of the posts about this issue, that's the conclusion that I came to as well, as far as being a dodge/chrylser/jeep issue, but since I am a consultant for diablosport and am not at their location (I'm in CT), not much else I can offer at this point as far as what's actually happening down there in FL to remedy the situation...
you would need to get that actual info from MikeL or Johan...

it's dodge/chrysler/jeep overall man.. haha...
I'm in CT, Diablosport is in FL - nothing I can do or tell about what's being done down there in FL as far as a fix or work goes, since I'm not down there in FL hahaha...

LOL. Damn spam bot.
Believe me I'm not trying to be negative on the situation. I just want to help in anyway I can to get this resolved. Is it frustrating? Sure but shit happens. All I can do is keep checking in to see if there is any updated info. Again... I'm not trying to be a pain in the ass. If that were the case I would call every day.

Look guys, we're really sorry about this situation and we ARE working on it. I apologize that this is all of the information that I can give you at the moment, but this is only because it's all of the information I have. The issue was made aware to our engineering staff and they have been working on the problem for over a week.
The issue never came up in alpha testing here at our facility and it didn't come up in beta testing either. I walked 2 people through the calibration update process yesterday on the phone and they both worked just fine, so this is clearly a hit or miss type scenario which makes it THAT much more difficult to resolve. This is a fairly new issue that WILL be resolved, it's just a matter of duplicating and fixing it, so please be patient. This is literally a brand new unit to all of us, and we just need to work out some of the kinks.
As for the email issue for the registration process, that is a completely separate issue and our windows engineer has been working on a completely new registration process diligently for a bit of time now. As far as I know, the registration process is only necessary for us to track who has our tools and shouldn't really matter to you guys for now.

Is anyone local to south florida where they can come to my shop(pm me for more details) NOT DIABLO and I can mess with both the intune and attempt to flash your car with my dealer tools to see if I can get you running. no charge... Tips welcome tho. LOL
This is such a hit or miss thing. Some cars go through the updates etc without a hitch some dont. A few of us own chrylser vehicles here in the shop. and I have personally downgraded my calibration in my car so i can use the intune to force a calibration update. and it went through without a hitch. so there was nothing to record on the process. I am going to attempt some more stuff. on my personal car over this coming break.
Can some of you post your calibration numbers.
to get cal numbers goto settings-tool info- vehicle info-cal id, generally you have to be in the vehicle to get this info.
