Ok well that is not cool, I guess what I will do is test this on another car and see if it has the same issue. if it does then I am stuck. package was never opened but because i did not buy it from a store i do not get a warranty.. so much for saving some $$

surely you can understand that we cannot offer a warranty on anything purchase second hand, new in box or not.

same goes for most electronics manufacturers.

Oh I do understand and am fine with that if i do not have the receipt.

but if I have the receipt from him? showing that it was purchased? is there a way to transfer warranty status to me? like most electronic manufacturers? As long as I have the receipt, warranty is honored... just want to make sure.. if not then its going to cost $99 +sh

no, we would have to inspect it to ensure it is in proper working order before we could transfer a warranty, which is not really feasible.

I will test it on my neighbors 06 charger to verify first if it is my car or the trinity first. then if it is the trinity, try to figure out if i should dish out more money to have this thing work the way it is supposed to out of the box.

beginning to wonder why i just didn't buy the cheaper predator, or even an Intune would have been cheaper. because that is all I have right now with this trinity.

Sorry I know its not your fault and I appreciate the effort you put into this already. but I am slowly losing faith in Diablo I love the product but am screwed because I bought a new trinity from some one that had it for literally a few days..He bought it then sold his car before he even got the product. never even opened the shipping box.. so I know this was 100% new in the box just like i would of bought it from a vendor. and I was the only one to ever touch this device. only one to register it.. and if this is a problem with the product, there is nothing i can do but shell out more money... Again I know its not your fault..and I am sorry for the venting.. but you can see the frustration in the concept.

So I tested it on my neighbors car and it works fine. was able to monitor and even do a 1/4 test. so it looks like there is something wrong with my car.. The trinity works fine and I can put a tune on the car just cannot leave the trinity plugged in on my car.

Would this be the ECM issue now? Where would i go from here? any advice?
