Thanks. So, is there an option when I tune with my Diablo to reset the TCM or is that automatically done with any tune?

whenever you flash a tune to the modules, all learned adaptives get reset...

Grrr, OK, trying to use the DSDownloader to install the latest 9r30 update. I had downloaded the crom file and tried it twice. It goes through and installs up to count 8195 out of 9704 and stalls out saying "unable to store CROM image. Tried twice.
Looking at the instructions about this corruptions, it wants me to go through the steps and "Send the CROM file to tool", but when I click on that button, it's not asking for a crom extension file. So I can't load it. What am I doing wrong. Also, now the buttons to Send the CROM file to tool" buttons are greyed out and I can't click on them.

you need 9r12 or 9r30l, what year is the car?

Its an 06 SRT8. I already gave him 9r30l in the other thread. He's gotta use 9r12.

No problems on the install of that one now.

What is the policy of Diablo on updating the hardware if sent back in? Is this an option or would I need to purchase a new one to get the newer revisions?

OK, took a deep breath and plugged in the unit.
"U7135 does not support CALID 05003232AF. Does not support this vehicle call 561-908-0040 x1 with your CALID."

Dang it. What's going on? I thought the U7135 would work with my '06 Dodge Charger SRT8. Is this unit too old or what?

Grrr, why would the 9r30l not work? The tuner took it OK. What's the mane difference in 9r30l and 9r12?

Will Diablo swap out or upgrade units?

There we go!!!!! Did the downgrade and installed. Wow. I couldn't stop the tires from barking!!! I'm going to go through a set of tires here in no time now. This is the way an SRT8 is supposed to run. Nice!!! Shifted more aggressively too. I've ordered a 180 thermostat for it...I think I'll need it for sure now. Installed the 91 CAI canned tune. Love it.

The 9r30l only has the Cals on it for the 09 and 10 cars. Since yours is an 06, the Cal isn't on there for it and it can't work.
