But yes, I do have the same question, how come esp takes longer to kick in?

Not sure but my ESP kicks in right away i have the 91Oct and CAI tune with the latest update r17

My understanding and observations on my SRT8 is torque management is greatly reduced, but ESP is still on. So ESP is working, but the engine's pretty well ignoring requests to back off when you hammer it.

Definately not stock TM, not by a looooooooooooooooooooooooooooooong shot.

Pre Diablo- I could do burnouts with minimal interferences from HAL with it all the way engaged, it just took some peddle feathering just before HAL kicked in....

POST Diablo- Hal fully engaged, burnouts are not a problem, HAL will blink once and then give up ...Also Shockingly HAL likes donuts also, let me do some in an abandoned Otay Lakes Parking Lot with only a lil flicker halfway through the first, but after that HAL was enjoying the ride ....So what does this all mean. IDK except Diablo better start having raffles or give awys on 20" Tires for all us SRT owners with Predators (LOL...JK)

Curious

How would this delayed engagement of the ESP affect the AWD Hemi's?

You might try self-control of your right foot.

James from Frank Racing Inc looked at the canned 93 tune with me today, and it appears "Torque management" is completely disabled in the canned 93 CAI tune. This is different from stock settings
