Original backup gone after software update

I did the update and then went to the website and saw that I was suppose to restore the original tune back to the car. I figured the software would have warned me. I copied the XML intune files and sent them to support. I too got a file back with no instructions. I copied it to the intune device, it reconized it , did something ans rebooted but it still doesn't have my vehicle's information and the unit still is taking me to a registartion screen. I emailed Vas back asking for instruction and I haven't heard anything.

My questions are,
1) Am I suppose to register my device again?
2) after coping the GRG file to the device am I suppose to connect it to the car and download what is on the computer? if so, it was the modified tune not the original.
3) Am I suppose to copy my original files before the update back into the intune directory and go from there?

let it finish all the updates, then let it save the current file fromt he car, and send it to us or post it here.

OK, I let the update run and I plugged it in to the car and down loaded the ECM. Do you need my original stock file?

yes, they will need your original backup stock tune file...

I got my intune today loaded it to my srt8 did some logs went to view my logs on the handheld which i couldnt do????(could on my predator) so i plug it in to the PC and it starts auto updating immediately which by then i realize sh*t i didnt restore my backup file to the car. so now the intunes updated but it has no history of my original backup? this seems really bad? i dont have any other saved backup how can i get this file back?

no worries, let the tool try to tune it then follow the prompts to connect to a PC and download a cal update.
