I'm using the latest version on the website, and downloader is successful at transferring tune to Predator, at least it says it is.

I am having the exact same problem and exact same error on my 2006 300C, has anyone figured out a reason or a solution yet.

I'm getting the same error when trying to load a custom tune and I'm using downloader 1.9.6. Has anyone heard any good news regarding this? If it helps you guys, I have an 06 300C SRT8 and the problem happened with both Predator revisions 17 and 18.

I'm not sure what is happening here.....
keep in mind that this is the same software we use here, and that all of our CMR delaer use, and I know it works for them.
Do you guys have the compressed send button checked?
Maybe try the 1,7,4,0 version from the DSDL section of the forum and see if that helps.

Thanks

Anyone who is still having this issue, please email me with the following three pieces of information:

1. Your original backup file
2. Your custom tune file
3. The VIN from your vehicle

My email address is below.

I'll try it again tonight and send you the files if it doesn't work. Where is the compression button that Mikel referred to (I'm at work and don't have the software in front of me). Thanks.

The compression button only applies for older tools requiring DSDL to be configured for legacy mode. Since you have a 7135 you should be using the autodetect, which determines the compression setting from the Predator and hides it from the user.

I just got a custom email tune from an Authorised CMR dealer in Australia, but I cant load it to the car, it says
"The custom tune cannot be used on this car. VIN mismatch"

He said he started with my base original file but somehow, when I tried to upload again from the DSdownloader I found out that the last FIVE digits VIN number are different, but the rest o the VIN number are the same.

Do you have any idea what's wrong with file? why the last five digits somehow get changed in the file?

I noticed Jected (300cforums name) also had the same problem and I think he's dealing directly with Johan according to this post: http://www.lxforums.com/board/showthread.php?t=90144

PS: I'm using DSDownloader ver. 1.9.6.10 and R18
