My 2012 Chrysler SRT8 won't start, the trinity shut my car d

The problem is, I can't access the trinity even if I plug it in the computer at home it automatically try's to restore the stock tune then after it fails it says "one moment please" then shuts off and turns back on and repeats, and if I select no when it asked to restore original tune then it shuts off and repeats, so I can't enter the options mode or any mode for the trinity, so I'm probably screwed, but I have a cadillac DTS-V series, one of only 3 built by GM that I'll be driving till I get a fix on this.

WTF is a DTS-V? They never made any front drive V's.

You can access the main menu by pressing the back key

There are 2 vertical keys to the left of the LEDs. The top key will bring you to the menu if you press it a few times.

thats why i have not flashed my car again after my initial debacle. i couldnt start my car properly for 5 days until they discovered the reason for the problems. and i still dont trust that c revision file.

SRT8GRT, I was lucky enough that my dealer was nice enough not to void my warranty as they knew immediately that it was programmed..so wait for Diablo guys to fix it.
Dkoong, I am itching as well to play with the trinity, but I was waiting for someone with an export srt8 to try it first ...I was the first guinea pig with an export 2012 srt8 that had the Dead car symptom

I just bricked mine today. It's the C code, but i'm fairly certain it's the updated one.

Sure wish the procedures to fix were online somewhere. Waiting till tomorrow so I can call.... to wait on hold, Sucks.

There is no updated c code...just a new b code.
Go to download page, add your trinity serial number, choose file 1r09, download, the file then it will update to the new 1r09b that will fix most of the problems.
The c code is corrupt , just get rid of it.

Well... crap. lol I thought they re-released C code that was good. Wish I understood that before.

Its in a bad state, can't do anything like that without Diablo's help now. Even plugging the tuner into the USB on my laptop it just powers up and gives me the same messages about needing to restore the stock backup. DSDownloader doesn't see it as its not at a point where the COM port actually opens and is listening. Hopefully i'll get it worked out tomorrow with Diablo.

It would just be nice if there was a method that could be followed that someone like us could do that does NOT require Diablo Tech Support on the phone, during weekdays, during business hours only. Its all going to end up being a software fix, and i'm sure there are reasons why you wouldn't want everybody doing what we'll have to do, but it sure would save us alot of frustration if the method was available 'without help'.

lucky i still have the b file loaded on my trinity.

i did try and tune it... and it worked!!!!!!!! since i had to get to work i didnt get to try it out and stretch its legs as the car was stone cold started.

the only odd thing is the blind spot thingy went offline.... hmm. whats the deal with that.

maherm... you can try it now if you have the b revision... my export car works. no problems at all.

i think their c file ... is fuxxed. c for crap. c for corrupt.

i think the method to fix it involves procedures they dont want the general population to play with. so it needs a password to perform the force calibration update function on the tool. they are 'protecting' us from ourselves im guessing. lol.

there is an updated c code. i just wish they called it a 'd' or something to distinguish it. the file was updated on the 15th. one of the techs told me they fixed the file and reposted it. i am still wary and tuned with the b file which worked without a hitch.

EDIT : woops.. you are right. they pulled the new 'c' file and replaced it with the b file again on the 16th. LOL. obviously it wasn't fixed properly. LUCKY i didnt download and use it.
