Changed over to stock modified tune, burning 87 oct and there's Lt/St kn here also. Need a little time to see how much compared to the 87 oct tune. Probably will switch back to 89 oct fuel and check it on the next fill-up with the stock tune to see if it diminishes.

Just updated to the "d" crom and tried mileage booster, knocking son-of-a-gun at part throttle. Went back to modified stock and will follow plan above.

If you are experiencing LT and ST knock as described, its best to return back to stock and let DS sort it out. They will figure it out and fix it!!
I know its not fun not being able play but its a lot better than having to pay.

I'm seeing this issue as well on my 2012 Challenger SRT8. I captured these logs while running the stock modifiable tune, unmodified. Just cruising down the road.

Just curious, did any of you notice if the MDS was engaged or not??

I checked to see if the actual MDS turning on and off was causing the LT and ST knock but I didn't see/hear any correlation. I put the truck in tow/haul and still saw the LT and ST knock so its not the MDS by itself.

Hopefully some clarification will come our way soon!

Don't want no :drivingbad:

My MDS was on, RPM below 1500, 4/5th gear and light throttle pressure. Still seeing it in stock modified tune, have about 3 counts of LT right now. This is less than any other tune.

Mine was at it's worst right after mds turned off. Like if you've set the cruise and coast down a hill, about the time you hit the bottom of the hill and start up the other side, mds turns off and returns to 8 cyl mode. In that scenario, mine would ping a couple times that you could hear in the cab.

I am still running 87 oct till the next fill up, what fuel are you running?

Light knock at part throttle may be the norm considering I'm running the stock tune. I remember many cars I had pinged under light loads. I haven't heard a car audibly ping in a long time so maybe seeing it on a gauge has caught us off guard so to speak.

Mikel,

Any idea yet as to what the cause is? I know y'all are very busy but any update?

On another note, when I re-did my Trinity and went back to the old B, the truck is def slower than the Ci file. Can I just reload the trinity-1r09.crom and then use the update of trinity_dcx_gas-1t09ci_update.crom to get back to the file that worked the best for my truck until y'all get everything in order? Or can I just update from the trinity_dcx_gas-1r09b_update.crom with the Ci??

Thanks

Is this update for everyone, or just trucks?
