With a 2011 Jeep JK 3.8L

0-60
Stock- 14.5s
87 tune- 11.5s

Yeah, it's still really slow, but a lot faster than stock. I can really feel the extra power too. I can actually pass people on the interstate now!

guys, keep in mind, if the tune is doing its job....wheel spin is a new issue, and 0-60 will rarely look better when you introduce wheelspin...

Unfortunately I did not get the difference between Stoke, and after programming.

The results were close, even in the quarter mile

Supposed to get better performance after programming .

1/4 mile improvements are made or lost in the first 60', if it spins, the 1/4 mile is going to be slow.

That's right

But

I have tried and tested in the same way, but the results are similar.

I'll try again, I hope to find some improvement.

I have some questions, I hope to answer them, even though I offered on several previous threads.

1 - Is it possible to raise the Shift Point in Release F
2 - What's New with F which benefit me ( CHARGER 2011 RT )
3 - Have you been reporting problems with F

Thank you

2011 Challenger R/T Classic Auto

Stock - 6.00 secs 0-60
Perf 93 tune with 15% TB and shift firmness increased - 5.52 secs 0-60
CMR tune - coming soon

I lost alot of time burning rubber at the beginning of the run.

Bullish, you have to modify your parameters to fit your vehicle. I have seen tremendous gains with my trinity and other smaller mods, I understand that $600 is expensive for a tuner but we don't appreciate it's capabilities because our second gen cars come with in dash recordings of 0-60, 0-100, 1/8 & 1/4 miles recording times, so this option is lost with the trinity, but if you take your time and feel out your car, experiment you could really improve through a tune. According to my in dash horsepower reading with all my mods and tune, I've reached 580 horsepower, now without the tune I reach 493 hp, don't know how accurate that is but I know that without the tune my car is not as strong. Here are my before and after tune experiences and I've tested and ran my car 100's of times. Keep in mind that all these run are on street tires and on the streets.

Before 0-60 time - average 4.7 ---- best ever 4.6 (only got it one time and could never repeat)

After 0-60 time - average 4.4 ---- best ever 4.3 (hit it twice but really think I got a 4.1 in there if I could reduce wheel spin)

Before 1/4 time - average 12.8 @ 111mph --- best ever 12.7 @ 112mph

After 1/4 time - average 12.5 @ 113 mph --- best ever 12.4 @ 114 mph

These time are presented with average and best, average meaning that I consistently run these times with wheels spins and decent launches, best being reduced wheel spin and better launches, these time were all prior to my new exhaust (magnaflow) it's wet here in Michigan so gotta wait for the dry up.

I played around with my 2012 Challenger SRT8 tonight. 45 degrees tonight. Stock tune, 0-60 5.06 sec, 91 octane tune with 5% extra fuel 4.92 sec. Mopar CAI, Mopar exhaust, stock RSA tires. I hate these tires. Traction issues all around, and seemed worse with the 91 tune. I ran a quick log, no more than 1 deg of STKR.

With the traction issues I don't think these numbers mean much. The improvement likely was seat time. It was a lot of fun, though.

You know what bro you make a very good point..
I have notice alot more spin to the rear wheel which I am being told could be the reason why 0-60 is not much any better than stock. So I was OK I will get it Dyno .. I dyno at 417 stock.. Then I am told but the tune might throw off timing so I might not see that much of a difference.. I am told take it to the track... But won't the wheel spin still play a part in that (stock vs Tune) data.. hahahha :drivingbad:

Now I never did think about the HP reader on our SRT's.. When I first got the car I notice it going up to 475..
I will try it again now that I got the 93 tune.. I still plan to get a dyno soon..

Get some Drag Radials and then tell me some numbers. Street tires blow. If you spin your not fast.
