Cant find the menu to change gaer ratio only tire height...
Got tired of waiting on tech call hold.
3 questions/ issues-
1. Need to change gear ratio: I have 4:88's with 37x12.50 Nitto Trail Grapplers.
2. In Colorado the highest octane you can get is 91. Is this sufficeient for our altitude on a 93 tune? If not will Lucas' octane booster work?
3. I thought the JK tunes were suppose to have some Rubicon (locker etc) features too?
Thanks in advance!!

If it doesn't support my gears can I use my AEV Procal module in conjunction with the Trinty to correct the ratio, tire size and tire pressure threshold?

If they don't answer, I'll let you know, I currently use the procal to turn off the TPMS light.

Thanks Vito!
I loaded the tune at work (restored my AEV Procal beforehand) and dont want to drive it without the gear setting being right.
Please let me know what you did. I've just heard horror stories of guys screwwing things up irreparably...

I will put it out there that my Superchips Tuner on my 2009 JK had no issues whatsoever in conjunction with AEV pro cal..

I've been on terminal hold for tech support (1 hour & 15 minutes so far... DOH)
I'm guessing they're getting a lot of questions for the 2012 JK's today.

Just spoke to Mike at Diablo...
The short of it is:
- 91 OT in Colorado, only run the 91 Tune or loose power...
(3-4 hp lost between tunes isn't the end of the world)
- Gear ratio isn't an issue on 2012 and up as the speed sensor is at the wheel
- No Rubicon or TMPS support yet but soon to come
- The AEV Procal should NOT interfer with the trinity so you can use it for the TMPS etc if you desire
Thanks Mike!!!
Time to go play...

HELP!
So far not blowing my skirt up. If anything it seems slightly more lathargic...
91 Tune and 91 Shell premium
What are some of the options to wake her up?
I am going to try turning up the throttle to 20% but there are some more features that I am unsure of that are not reflected in the manual since it isn't vehicle specific.

Hm...That makes me uneasy. I'm going to be taking it for a ride in an hour and I'll report back later with results.
Did you update to latest CAL-id? I had to plug it into Jeep, go back to computer, get Calibration update, then plugged it back in to make it work.

I did the update...
I reloaded the stock then back to the 91 tune.
A little better, then I turned off the traction control and turned up the throttle response all the way and that made a very notable difference. I still believe there's more there to gain. Some of the other parameters need to be explored but I will say I'm happy with the improvements so far. Mike from Diablo also said update would be coming in the future to address the tmps, lockers etc..
It's going to be 60* today and tomorrow so it's a great time for a few rides and a trail or two...
I'll report back with any new findings!

I'm loving this tuner..I feel a lot of torque, love the throttle boost. Gear shifts feel smoother..Just an all around improvement.
