:( I just got my Trinity a few days ago and its the same way. At first I thought it was just residue from the protective cover.
Nope its speckled :(

Mine is the same way, I assumed this was normal......I guess not... is it too late to get a 2 yr old unit fixed?

2 year would be out of warranty, yes...
