Modern muscle does not make extravagant claims, they show an honest 5hp gain, with a clearly identified engine build.. IF someone took the time to look at a stock TB next to a MM Ported you can see that in the areas where metal is removed and smoothed that when the TB opens the potential for more air to move is there. Potential. Its not a bigger TB, its ported , like ported heads with the same valves, they flow more air due to the machining. Would it be my first mod...NO, and it wasn't. why? becuase I called Modern Muscle and Dave Weber suggested I wait until I figure out the rest of my build/ goals and to get it when it would be benificail and compliment my other mods. Due to budgeting I Bought it a little early, and you know what? I felt a harder pull of the line. 60 foot went down some, thats a positive indicator, and not proof, due to other factors like DA/ adaptives etc. .
When you add a cam, true CAI, head work, headers etc. The TB CAN become the bottleneck.
Like most mods it has to work with the entire build. I would not run without it anymore then I would go back to a canned tune from my CMR tune.
Just my 2c based on my experience
By the way I run 11.74 @ 117 MPH on a stock bottom end 5.7....Thats all motor.

Let them sue me. And I'll sue them right back for false advertising, because my Jeep showed losses with them (not to mention the fact that its not a true 87mm TB because the blade is significantly smaller than that).
