Have you tried the described fix?
A.V.GCSRT8 wrote:I have erased the injector pulse width PID and it logs fine now. I also have switched to the 1r10 crom from 1r10c and my preloaded gauge layouts have not erased yet either. If you quickly erase both pulse width PID's it will log and save just fine, that is if you have not lossed all the pre loaded gauge layouts. When I went back to 1r10 the pre loaded gauge layouts came back so maybe try that?

So i immediately have to put a work around, on this little $600 machine i just bought for it to work correctly?

No i have tried that yet.
Ha you feel the same way as me.. Don't piss them off at diablo! They get sensitive when people have a gripe about the 600 paper weight that is in OUR 50000 plus cars!
I have tried all the work arounds and NO they dont work.
Now Mike there is 6 of us idiots here with imaginary freezing issue. Lol, up until the last update my couldn't even reset the TCM.

This is the list of PID's my turner is asking me for. The ones in red are the ones that are not showing up when I try to build my layout. The Charge Temp and Fuel, I'm not sure what they're called, but I'm going to call the categories ( They're are in red also) are not even an option when I pull up the PID"s (gauges). Does Anybody have the PID's show up on their Trinity or is it just me? And as you can see in the list my tuner wants the Injector pulse width cylinder 1 so I can't delete that one. And deleting PID's is not a "Fix". Thanks for any help.

Mikel we should not be the ones trying this stuff. kind of like obama care :normal:
but I'll give it a shot.
We dont have a 12-13 vehicle in house, so its tough for me to test. You can't see much data on the bench, and the layouts do not lock up onthe bench, so until I have a vehicle to duplicate this on, we're in a tough spot.

I see my fix worked for A.V.GCSRT8, and since it worked for me on the last vehicle I saw this on, i have to believe it works for all of you.
Maybe the PID is in there 2X, and needs to be deleted both times to make it work properly.

Anyway to post up the old version of 1r10?
thanks

Mikel the problems I'm having with the trinty are with my 2010 challenger R/T 5.7 6 speed.
Not a newer model you don't have to hook it to the car. you get the same results through the usb cable attached to the lap top.
Just scroll through to -2007 up tuner- data pid's locks up without even collecting live data you can only go two page's in either direction up or down and this is with your latest software this is a brand new trinty born on july-13. try it out.........

Tried the "fix" and no. Freezes immediately, unable to do a "quick" delete of the injector pulse... I wish there was a car nearby so this can be sorted out from Diablo. Definitely as issue that seems to be worthy of looking into. Is there a way to downgrade the Trinity to a older version that worked properly when the unit was tested? Version "f" say back to "a" or "b"
Oldest i have available is the "d". Can "d" and it didn't work..
Tried car running to edit gauges and had tried it with car off.

Maybe its just a bug in the new code?

Ok loaded 1R10 on to desk top for future use although there should be a way to turn off auto update kind of annoying.
Hook trinty to P.C. to use data viewer and then it starts doing up date's. What the :crashing:

Pardon me A.V.GCSRT8,

If I already have the '1R10f' CROM on the tool, can I overwrite with the non-"f" CROM?

Thank you,
Carcass
