Awesome!
I am in North Carolina. Pretty far, about 800 miles away. I own a 2013 Avenger SXT with 3.6L. Mods done to my Avenger are K&N intake and Corsa Catback Exhaust. Email me if interested.

Hey guys,
got a 2012 chrysler 200 with the 3.6 vvt. Id be rather interested in setting up a dyno with you guys and possibly getting a tuner kit for it, if you guys can make that happen.
Have the catback magnaflow installed too id be interested to see if it actually changed anything once on the dyno.
Im over in fort Myers so Delray beach is not too far away from me.

Oh man... Mikel, I owe you the biggest apology.
I shall never lose faith again. I'd make it up to you guys by lending you my 'venge... but I'm in the Northeast!! ARRRGH!!!

Best I can do is buy it when it's out!

For you, there are no benefits. The 2.4 and 4 speed have zero performance aspirations. Nothing is gonna help those slugs.Aspec1989 wrote:What are the benefits of a tuner? Re: 08-13 Avengers....
Dear DiabloSport---I can't thank you enough for taking on the 3.5 and (most especially) the 3.6 for my circumstances. On facebook I recently told you I have two 2013 3.6 6speed FWD cars and will likely consider the 2015 9speed Chrysler 200 3.6 as well.
I have been absolutely DYING to have a way to tune for forced induction, or even just to tweak what I've got. What I didn't say on the forums or facebook messaging before is that I'm actually a hardcore driver, having dragraced since I was 15. (My photo on some sites, including smashwords.com is me on a '84 Honda Nighthawk S popping a Wheelie at the former Fremont, CA Dragstrip.) Alongside my '67 Camaro, '91 Spirit R/T and '91 Stealth RT/TT I have so far taken my Chrysler 200 2013 3.6 to the RMR dragstrip here in Utah and obtained a 15.4 at 4200 feet elevation on E85 fuel. Did I mention I'm DYING to get my hands on one of your tuners? So again, from all of us with FWD 3.6 thank you, thank you, thank you. I'm sooooo ready to buy on the day it's released.
Now to the point: I'm willing to buy right now. I realize the business need and the practical need for having the vehicle on site and perform final map adjustments and such in house. However, if for any reason you're coming up short of 3.6 FWD cars to work on in Florida, I propose I purchase a beta tuner from you now for your estimated price of a production unit, with the understanding that I will exchange it for a production one when they are available and to fulfill all expectations of testing/tuning you might have of me. I am perfectly happy to sign any waivers and contracts. We can contract a local mechanic if you like to perform the testing and if you approve of them, tuning experiments. We do have at least one dynometer in the area. I have worked in IT field for 20 years and am confident that if desired I may also be able to assist in running a series of tests or even making on-the-fly recordings and adjustments to send to you for review. I have a variety of PC's, with various OSes available if that is how you perform tune adjustments and tests. I'm also happy to leave my vehicle with a local mechanic/tuner of your choice for a few to several days in exchange for any sort of loaner (I'll drive the mechanic's backlot 2003 Chev Cavalier even, if I have to.)
So, as you can see, I will bend over backwards to try to help you get tuning going on this platform, just in case you have need of it and to further convince you there is market for it. The only reason I don't offer to ship my car to you is that that is of course significantly impractical for both of us when there are millions of 3.6 FWD on the road.
My best wishes you find willing participants ASAP and that you can bring this line to production ASAP as well.
Yours truly with credit card burning a hole through my wallet,
Paul.

Re: 08-13 Avengers....
I am located in Palm Beach Gardens and own a 2011 Chrysler 200S with the 3.6L V6. Please let me know what you need me to do and when, you can have the vehicle for as long as you need. I am very familiar with your Predator handhelds that I have owned on my 3 past vehicles. VIN: 1C3BC8FG6BN577726

So diablosport I see a couple people have offered but have you actually got someone to commit to come in for testing? Just wondering if I should keep asking forum members to message you.
