That being said, wouldn't it made more sense to have suggested the RPM range instead of 50-55 mph? o6MonteSS said in one of his articles he ran at 70 mph of which is what I was working at.
Using RPM's I'm better off because I don't have to go to an Interstate Hwy to run my tests.
Would it now be better to go back to Zero and start all over again?
If you go back and look at the first run it is in the same RPM range but nothing was suggested about low RPM's. Only to set to -4%.
The LTFT's are now set at -5% because I thought that is what I needed for my next run.

I said 70 cuz that's what's needed to keep up with traffic around here
and highway is better than around town because you can stay at the speed/rpm's longer and get better/truer readings... around town driving / stop-n-go isn't going to give you the steady driving/readings that you'll need.
you don't have to start at 0 again, just do another log and see where stuff is at.

Nah, don't bother starting all over. Just run her up to 2100-2300 rpm, a slight upgrade would be best, like 22% throttle at 55-60 mph, and do some llive data. Don't even bother with the log, you'll only get a minute and a half anyway, just look at it on the screen. Do it a couple times, once you reach speed the numbers will settle in, then just do an average yourself. Then I would take it up to 50 and slowly increase speed to 60, that little accelleration should give you what you need to simulate some slight engine load. Wait a little at 50, like a minute or so, for the readings to stabilize then slowly increase speed. One thing about where I live in Florida. There is NO upgrade I know of within 100 miles other then the causeways.
no.... get the normal driving/part throttle ltft's dialed in first, then you can do a WOT log to see where stuff is at...

Thanks, plan to take another run at it in the next couple of days. A little more sophisticated then changing jets and pulling & reading spark plugs.

Back out again today and did a lot of Real-Time before running a short log of which is reprehensive of what I saw Real-Time. I’m already -5% and I still need to go another -3%.
LTFT’s were great at the normal cruise RPM around 1400 that I was setting up for before.
The two banks have quite a spread but I don’t know if this means all that much or not?
Let me know what you think.

I'd take out the -3 like you said and do another set of runs, but you may need to take out -4.
See what I mean about not being in the right rpm range before to get the correct adjustment on LTFT's....
and no, seeing that much of a difference between banks is not uncommon, at least from what I've seen, and we have the same motor.
I do and would have gone with the RPM range had I known from the beginning. Drove me crazy playing with the dumb 1 1/2 minutes of log time (at best), and numbers bouncing all over the place, before i figured it didn't make much sense tuning barely over idle, which is all I got at 65 in 6th gear.
So I got my old 75mhz laptop out of the closet, and bought a 12v converter for it, and started running 20 minute logs, at all different kinds of rpm ranges.
anyway, glad I could help out a fellow C6'er. In hindsight though, now I'm glad the predator pulls data so quickly for our cars, its become a real good tool for testing changes to 60ft, 330ft, 1/8th and quarter mile times. I can play around with the timing and PE tables, and go right out and do a few runs to see if it had a positive result. So far, its got me down to 11.62 @ 127 and change in the quarter.
I wish it had a little more range in adjustment and some of the scanning capabilites of the other software oftions, especially for the PE tables, but it did what i needed to learn a bit. In the end I expect it to only become the speed scanning tool to test setups with other software, but its worth the price I paid for it.
I decided not to go with the vararam myself, because of concern over tuning. I don't think you'll be very effective using the predator, there simply isn't enough adjustment of the PE tables. Maybe they can give you a custom tune, but I don't really see how it can be done without producing some lean conditions at speed. Its not like a supercharger, which will always produce the same amount of air flow at a given engine speed. The vararam only adds pressure at higher vehicle speeds, so 5000 rpm at 20 mph is going to be different than at 100 mph.
