Oh I'm with you now. I thought the tunes were on the unit already.
The instructions on your website only say to hook it up to the pc to make sure the unit has the latest software version.


Sorry for all the dumb questions. I knew I was missing something

well, the tunes are on the unit.

It needs a copy of the stock tune from the truck so you have a stock tune to go back to, and you have 2 choices, spend 45 min reading it, or 1 min downloading it from a PC

It gets the stock tune the first time you program the truck.
Then I can up load it to the pc. Then when I wa to go back to stock I download it back to the programmer?

Man, Im not sure if I should keep going, I am just confusing you more and more.

To be honest, a few hundred people have done this process and it hasnt been an issue, just follow the prompts on the tool and you'll be fine.

dont give up man, just do it, we've spent more time typing about it than it would have taken to tune a fleet of these things

My tuner will be here tomorrow. I will get her done.

I got it now. Everything went as it should. Lol.

Custom tune coming from MAK later this week.
Just have to figure out how to send them my truck file

For what its worth the Intune in transit will be the 5th Predator/intune etc Ill be using on a new Vehicle (ya im a bit crazy,buy a new car every year).

I never knew about the read/download trick and always sat there for the 15m as it read the original..

Just a heads up, this is currently only supported on the Ecoboost applications.
