Hello Mike,
I just did everything you asked me to but did not work. It's still showing the same error. (Both PCM & TCM)
I also filmed the process so please refer to the videos below and tell me if there's anything I did wrong.

1. Restoring Original Backup
https://youtu.be/qtb5YqyF6yI

2. Updating the tool to latest version = v.1r13n
https://youtu.be/aiE69UkXBos

3. Installing Pulley Canned Tune and seeing the TCM Error Message
https://youtu.be/5XgbrfMYJlE

After that, I called Diablo and talked with the other Mike who was calling you a supervisor and tried again.
And It's still showing the same message "Support for TCM is disabled. Restore Original Backup to enable support"

So Mike asked me to go plug the device again and check if my TCM is saved. I did what he asked and found only PCM.
The next option he gave me was to visit the dealership and reflash the TCM.

So even though I think there is no problem with my stock TCM I will do what he suggested.
I will visit my dealership next week and re-flash & update my TCM and see if it works.

I really do hope it works.
I'm about to get a Custom Tune from Johan(your former CMR tuner) and I already paid for it.
But I wouldn't want a custom tune without the TCM tune...

I'll report you the result by next week.

Thanks and have a nice week.

Yeah, I cant see it as an issue with the tool, i wish maybe you had another vehicle we could test it on, but updating the TCM cant hurt.

Yeah Mike, I'm going tomorrow to the dealership to get my TCM reflash.

But you have to remember that the TCM is not the only problem
I've been claiming. Please refer to the first post and video of this thread.

Hello Mike,
I went to the official dealership and got my TCM / ECM reflashed.
My TCM was actually the latest version so I made them totally rewrite my TCM.

But nothing changes.
Same TCU error, and Same weird message asking me to erase the custom tune(I never had any)

So what else can I do to prove that this trinity is malfunctioning,
or doesnt perform normally with my car? (maybe this device is just particularly not meant for my vehicle)

And as I mentioned above. I have a Porsche which your device does not support.
and I tried to hook-up this device to one of my friends Mustang, and it also showed abnormal messages.
(Honestly, it was quite ago and I don't remember what message it exactly was.)

And also, once I marry the device to my VIN, isn't it locked to my vehicle?
I thought it's not supposed to work on other vehicles unless I register for the Unlock/Reset Tool request on your homepage and pay $150?

From my understanding, it's kinda weird you ask me to hook it up with other vehicle and try tune it.
Is there something I'm getting it wrong?

Please help me out here Mike.
I have all my Stage 2 parts and Tuner ready and just can't proceed because of this trinity.

to make it work inthe mustang you have to go to options/change vehicle type and select the Mustang.

If you wish to send it in to be tested please fill out the return form onour site under support and get it sent in.

Thanks

Mike, I hope you remember I already tried RMS upon your request early this year in Feb when my warranty was valid.
The RMS number was #20537. and it was the same symptom I claimed and you can always look up the history from this forum or emails back and forth. However you guys(Phil to be exact) sent me the same device back to me with an email saying it worked fine on your test cars. I don't know what happened there but I supported plenty of evidence by writing up posts with pictures and videos.

And also, this is not the first time I told you but I am an American Expat. in South Korea. I do come home once in a while in Seattle but sending you the product and getting it back takes about a month in total. And since my vehicle is modded with a smaller 2.55" Pulley, I will not be able to use my car for that period.

So, If you ask me to send in the device again, I insist you should report and discuss with your supervisor or the company owner(or whoever can make a decision) about my case in advance and give me a confirmation that you will send me back a new product that actually works on my car at no cost since this is an extension of the same issue I've been claiming for more than a year. And also, the product should be shipped to South Korea. Even though it works on your test cars doesn't mean it works on my car and I have consistently support you with so many proofs. It might have some trouble reading my ECM/TSM for some reason we both don't understand.

Please give me your opinion. I am actually going to be on a leave back to home this Saturday and hopefully I wish I could hear from you before I get into my flight.

And one thing more, just to clarify and be sure if there's any other way we can solve this without sending the product,
Is the unlock/reset service you provide on your homepage($150) different from the reset you supported me by entering some codes to the device over the phone?
Your previous reply is confusing me. Do you mean this product is able to tune another vehicle after I install back my original backup.(=unmarried) even though it was once married to my car?

If the reset service you provided me is not a complete reset, and if it could be 100% reset by the service you offer on your website, why don't we try that before I do the RMS? I can call you tomorrow before I leave.

What do you say?

Yes, the resets are the same.
Yes, after restoring the stock tune to your vehicle, the tool unlocks and allows you to use it on another supported vehicle.

I can only imagine this to be an issue with the TCM cal itself. I dont have anyone else reporting it at all, and dont even have any similar issues with different TCM cals, so I am not sure what is causing this.

If we tested it here, it would have been on our 14 Sierra, which uses the same T43 TCM that your V does, and it worked fine, so its not the tool itself. Replacing the tool is not going to resolve the issue unfortunately.

I may suggest that you look try setting the tool to think the car is a manual, go to options/change trans type and select manual. then it will ignore the TCM and allow you to tune just the PCM for your mods.

First of all, how can you be so sure it's not your device causing issue after seeing the video of my vehicle TCM being re-flashed by an official Cadillac service center with an official Cadillac programmer? Just try once being on my shoes, I can't think of anything else but Diablo just trying to avoid warranty.

And if I set my transmission to manual, I wouldn't be able to get a trans tune.
Why would I bring up all this fuss if I didn't need a trans tune?

I paid full price for this product. And you're asking me to use only the half of what this device is eligible.

Mike, you really think this is the right move you're making as a technical/service agent?
