Mikel and Sambo69,

I've ran across the same problem with my 2003 Chevy Silverado 1500 4.8L with the predator U7195 V2.04.

I bought my predator when it was available for the 03 Silverado U7195 V2.03. I had no problems with the V2.03 on modifying the parameters and all of its capability. I’ve used the tool to its fullest capability and I’m very impressed. When the time came for the V2.04 update, I had to send the predator in to get the V2.04. The problems began from there on modifying parameters on any of the costume tunes that were sent to me for the newer Version.

Talk to Brian Kenig in the RMA Department (561) 961-2437. Because, He’s the guy that fixed the problem and now I have the full capability of modifying the parameters. All the New Extra Parameters that the Newer Version has are in there along with the old ones and its working great!

Hope this helps!

THANKS BRAIN !

Sambo69,

What I ended up doing to solve this issue on my end... is I send my Truck PCM and Predator in to have it looked at. I was told for some strange reason the newer version 2.04 wasn't working with the Truck PCM. The Predator v2.04 would Up & Down load custom tunes and all other factions did work. But, the only thing it wouldn’t do is adjust the parameters for any tunes.

So, we thought about it and decided to reinstalled the last version 2.03 back in and put it to the test. Guess what!! The programmer was back and communicating with the PCM just great. Another bonus to this also is … it also had the updated version 2.04 parameters in it. Benched tested the programmer a lot more and it worked great on every try on there end!

So, I’m think it might of have been the newer version 2.04. The updated parameters were there in the version 2.04 but had something missing. So, I was told that there was a newer version coming out to fix this later.

In your situation, you might have to send you Predator in and have the last version (what ever it was) installed, Besides the V2.10. Hopefully, it’ll come back to you with the updated parameters in it.
Talk to Brian Kenig (561) 961-2437 and ask him if this will work for you. It never hurts to try.

As of yesterday … I’m a happy man. My baby isn't mad at me anymore and we’re all communicating just great … with the custom tunes also. From V2.04 back to V2.03.

Hope this helps!
