Well isnt this a fine mess. With reading the other posts how far behind you guys are and the pending V6 thing I have to wonder whats going on at your business? Im sure you want to get product out the door but it doesnt seem to be happening.
The current Chyrsler FLAGSHIP and top performance car is the 6.1 SRT8 be it in my Challenger or the Charger or 300 and its getting pushed back by the VVT 5.7 it sounds like.
Great. Is the place run by former Chrysler management types?

The Flagship and top performance car is the Viper, which they don't even support. The top performing 6.1 is the Jeep, which they can't crack the tranny on, and then comes the 6.1 cars.

Sorry guys.

Reality dictates these types of things, and the reality is, we sell truck tools like 2:1 compared to car tuners, so....bread and butter has to get done so we can bring the fun stuff to the rest of you...

Well I figure I've got another month before my Challenger SRT gets delivered and hope by that time the 09 SRT's will be supported.

Wanted to let you guys know that the 09 support will be added to the U7135.

No ETA yet, but it will not be a new part number.

Thats good news and hope it is soon. My Challenger SRT arrives at the dealer Monday. We have several members at challengerforumz.com who will be receiving their SRT's this next week and it sure would be nice to put a tune on them ?
There are many others there who want to buy a Predator but are waiting for support.

I have to disagree. The Flagship of Dodge IS the Challenger/LX platform. The top performer may be the viper but is such a small market and Chrysler is trying to sell it. Not that I dont like them but I wouldnt trade my Challenger SRT8 straight up even for any Viper.
The only reason the Jeep is/was top dog is the gearing and or all wheel drive. Why cant they crack the very same tranny thats used in the Ram?
I KNOW cause I worked in the plant that made the RFE tranny (ITP)and the smaller ITPII plant that makes the AW580 and the old KTP plant that made the rest of the tranny line.
I know that there were different clutch packs in the RFE BUT the valve bodies were the same and other than MAYBE software there were no major differances. Im not a product eng. , just an electrician who helped keep it all humming along and saw the trannys go on the racks and the only real diff was 2wd/4wd v6/v8. That does not include the new HD 545 line which shares some parts but not all thats for the Cummins.
