1. Once you "beta test" the '07, will that programming also apply to the '08 or will you have to test an '08?
2. You mentioned earlier "ironing out the issues with the TCM". Will I not have to install a shift kit (transgo) for firmer shift points and TC lockup once I have your programmer?

1. Everything must be tested and then tested again, then tested once more. That goes for 07 and 08 stuff.chard222 wrote:1. Once you "beta test" the '07, will that programming also apply to the '08 or will you have to test an '08?

2. You should not need a shift kit once the tool is released.

Thanks, I will wait and watch the Tundras and Silverados zip around, knowing that very soon they will reading my liscence plate. I will leave you and yours to the testing, I appreciate your dedication to perfection.

Careful with those Tundras, they are beasts!chard222 wrote:Thanks, I will wait and watch the Tundras and Silverados zip around, knowing that very soon they will reading my liscence plate. I will leave you and yours to the testing, I appreciate your dedication to perfection.
One of our bosses recently bought a brand new 08 Tundra TRD Off Road package (2WD?) and we strapped it right on the dyno....
Basically, it is the most powerful stock truck we have ever seen on the dyno, laying down 321rwhp bone stock.
We then added a CAI and it made 332...wait till we start tuning on it.....

A friend here has a dyno. We put my truck on it stock and got 266rwhp. We put CAI and Superchips tuner with 93 octane fuel and got 289rwhp. I was rather disappointed in the results. That's when I researched the speed density versus mass air flow concerns with the DC pcm, and how the pcm relearns and adjusts to stock levels. Pardon the ignorance in the jargon.
This is part of the reason I am so anxious about the Hemi predator. I figure we will have to give you (diablo sport) a list of our upgrades to have you make a custom tune, given that the common upgrades are the CAI, Headers, and maybe a mild or MDS friendly cam.
However, I have a question concerning dynos.
I've heard mixed feelings on dynos types. This dyno was a dual mandrel (the kind that cradle the rear tires). Does this kind of dyno give low readings?

I'll say this, your numbers are in line with what we have seen here, maybe a slight bit higher...chard222 wrote:A friend here has a dyno. We put my truck on it stock and got 266rwhp. As for custom tunes, they do not come from us, they come from your local CMR dealer and should be done in person for best results.

Mike, I've decided to go with a procharger as soon as this thing is released so HURRY UP...j/k. I'm really glad your testing and re-testing. I don't want something glitchy if I'm putting a s/c on. Hope things are going well so far and if you can, hurry up...I want to be blown
