I checked the last tune written and the TCM file was not saved? Should I return to original then reinstall tune?

Mike, I got the TCM support now. I selected the moderate shift firmness with the 87 tune. 1st to 2nd at 1/2 - 3/4 throttle seems to shift a little wierd. Almost like it revs up a little just before shifting into 2nd. Normal acceleration feels good though. I'll try it for a while and see if it changes. Still need to dial in injector slope, etc.
Thanks for the help.

if you'd like, post up the backup and last tune written files and we'll check it out.

Here are my orginal backups and the last written tunes. The only mod I made to the tune was tunring off the DoD and changing the shift firmness. The truck has a CAI and Cat-back exhaust and I have not adjusted any fuel yet.
Would a log of the shift points help?

The shifting may have just been because it was learning. Seems to lug between shifts like the stock shifting

Will the letter change on the crom when my tranny is supported? i sent in my tcm file and GM can gas is at 1r08k right now. and i have been waiting on it to change so hopefully i can get TCM support. Im just waiting to get a tune from Ted Jannetty and we are just waiting on tcm support before he sends me my tune. So i am just driving with a CEL on from LT headers.

Mike,
Do you guys intend to add more TCM functions like part throttle shift points mph or rpm? Lew pretty much has the PCM tune dialed, just trying to get the shift points dialed in now. It seems like there are way more aptions in the Predator, at least for the 4 speeds.

predators do not have TCM control for any T42 applications, Im not sure what you're comparing to....?

I have a U7193 in my 05' GMC Sierra Denali and it just seems like there were more options. Maybe not?
Anyway can you add a parameter in the Trinity for part throttle shifting points in MPH? I remember the U7193 having an option for shift timing as well.

totally different application on the 05 vs the T42 in your newer truck...

OK. Do you think we will ever have some of those capabilities for the new trucks?
