Yeah, that's why I'm hesitant. Even though it's alcantara.

Its not real alcantara either. Its some sort of man made material that emulates the look and feel of suede/alcantara. It has the positives of the real stuff, but none of the negatives. They explained it in one of the Motor Trend articles about the XTS, which uses the stuff on the headliner.

I'll give it a shot. Also, what tune do you have on it?

Its got the canned pulley tune on it. Gonna have to call in and have them put the stock tune on whatever tuner you're using. It won't overwrite the canned tune.

Here are the stock tunes.

Assuming it's the 93/Diablo Pulley tune? If so, I don't need to change it.

I think I broke your BP tradition. Dealer put in half a tank of BP (93 I hope!) before I left and I filled up with Sunoco 93 on the way home and again today.

PS. On the way back from getting it tinted, I got it up to 140 with the cutouts before I shut it down. It felt really good and just kept pulling. Hoping to bring it to the track this Friday.

Yeah, its the 93 octane pulley tune. Tranny should be set to the Firm setting, but it didn't ask which one I wanted when I changed the tune from the custom one, so that may be stock. It was on Firm before I changed the PCM.

140, huh? Thats a best for her. I only went to 120.

Sounds good. Yeah, it was a long open stretch of road after filling up. I could have went more, but didn't want to push it. I probably should have datalogged that run too.

I truly believe that given the chance, she'll do 200.

Probably, but I'd need a long and wide road to do that.

I'm going to the track on Friday. I have a W4M CAI I'll try over your "LPE" intake.

I had an Airaid on it while I was driving it. Have it sitting here. The gutted box and hard tube (LPE rip off) was the closest thing to stock I had available to trade it with.

Side note, have you gotten anything in the mail from SRT or Ralph Gilles? They sent me an SRT flag and a nice note to come back.

Better than the stock tube. I didn't even bother asking about it since it couldn't even be used with the pulley, so it didn't matter.

Nope, didn't even get mail today. But probably because they don't have my new address. Take a pic of what they sent.

The 2 W4M CAIS we dealt with had erratic MAF signal issues....we never got one to work :(

The Airaid is a nice piece, and was not a restriction on Marsads with the cam....

This is what they sent. A lousy flag. As if its going to bring me back after all the bullshit. No DCT on the Viper, Locked Hemi PCMs, ridiculous 2nd Gen pricing, why would I go back? They basically gave us the big Fuck You.

Why do you think that is? It's just a tube with couplers and a filter.

The Airaid was nice, but the shield kept coming loose. I had to tighten it after ever trip down the track until I just took off the shield entirely. Airaid was a good company to send me another kit since apparently I lost a couple washers/bolts, hopefully not down the track.
