At this point, I really have to question how much effort has been put into finding a solution. It's been noted that you are waiting for Chrysler to release some updated files. What if they don't? Is there a workaround? I know a Mopar '11 Charger was offered up on multiple occasions for testing and it was never accepted.

Is there any realistic hope that this will get done?

So I was doing some thinking about all of this and decided instead of just complaining, I could try and do something active. I am thinking of writing a letter/email to mopar/Chrysler and let them know our frustration. I would like to get as many MOPAR owners to sign it as possible. Before I start writing it, I would like a little feedback:

1). This one is for the diablosport guys. What should I be asking for? What does Mopar/Chrysler need to give you to make my car awesomer?

2). The rest of you knuckleheads. I guess I need ways to contact as many MOPAR charger owners as possible. (does this also affect the MOPAR 12 300s or the MOPAR 13 darts?). After the letter is drafted and we figure out who to send it to, it would be nice to have a giant mess of names, which cars we own and our email addresses to tack onto the bottom of the letter. Then, finally, it would be good to have everyone involved send in a copy of the letter.

So who's with me?

I'm in, whatever it takes. Getting tired of looking at this everyday for the past 6 months only to be disappointed over and over again.

I'll get started just as soon as I hear from someone at Diablosport so I know what to ask for.

This is the response I received today from MOPAR when asking about tuning from the MOPAR factory.

"Mike,

Sorry for the delay. I had to check with Detroit on this to make sure I was not missing something. Mopar does not offer what you are looking for. Warranty will not sign off on this type of performance enhancement (I understand you just want it for track use) and the performance group did not allocate the budget to develop anything like this since the production was so low. Sorry for the unfavorable response. If something changes I will let you know.

Thanks,

So...... what if we KNOW it will void the warranty? :drivingbad:

You guys aren't going to get anywhere with Chrysler on this. If DS has been unable to get what they need, there's nothing they can do about it. Sorry guys, I know it's frustrating.

did allocate a budget?... What? They released the CAL ids for the regular new gen R/Ts.... Why not out Mopar 11's?... That doesn't even make sense...

@jonmckee He's just saying there would be no warranty if they did do a custom tune from the factory if that car is used on the track. We all understand that but he just had to say it as the rep for MOPAR. Regarding a release of CAL for the units in other models..... No idea what to say... I'm bummed as well and looking at options as well, like a ECU and harness swap which will more than likely void any and all support from MOPAR and Dodge! If I go that route you can bet a supercharger will be on it.

Bummed too!
