will the update have throttle sensitivity adjustments for '05 Hemi Rams?mikel wrote: Should have a new update Wednesday.
this info may be too late to do much good, but:
last night I loaded the production 9r06, and an option to adjust throttle sensitivity was in the "modify tune" list with rev limit, speed limit, tire size, wot spark & wot fuel. no trans shift point adjustments though. forgot to check tcm/pcm i.d. with this crom installed. did not load a tune with this crom, I want higher shift points than stock.
loaded beta crom 9t06d and there was no throttle sensitivity adjustment, but trans shift point adjustments were back. loaded 93 tune + altered shifts, then custom pcm tune and everything works. shifts are where I set them, custom tune loaded.
maybe this is wishful thinking, but shifts seem a bit firmer with 9t06d than with 9r04. my truck also seems to feel a little smoother more powerful. seems to rev faster. I set WOT shifts for 6,200 rpm like before with9r04, but the tach was going to 6,400 instead of 6,200 like it did with 9r04. need to do a datalog & compare it to previous WOT 6,200 rpm shift logs.
since '05's seem to have some peculiar quirks, would it be a good idea to develop an '05 only crom with all the neat adjustments for us '05 owners?
having watched Superchips have many headaches with one-size-fits-all databases, it seems logical to pick years with similar pcm/tcm and set up different croms for each group? a crom for '03-'05, a crom for '06-'08 and a crom for '09-'10?? what do you think?
my truck:
2005 5.7 Ram 1500
PCM: 56028958AI
TCM: 05094258AD
My truck has the 9t07b on it now and has the throttle sensitivity settings, also had it on the 9r06 too.white_lightning wrote:will the update have throttle sensitivity adjustments for '05 Hemi Rams?mikel wrote: Should have a new update Wednesday.

Still no good, no trans options and no TCM CALID (key on when checking) everything else seems to work though.
One thing I did notice (and maybe it is part of the problem) when I am loading the CROM file, when it gets to part 3 of the install it only gets about halfway through before it says it is done installing.
