I see this is your second post....never hurts to actually ask for help, rather than bash the product.

mikel are you really going to feed this guy a bunch of crap just like the rest of us. I am sure he read the posts of all the other users so this diagnosing your trying to do is usless. It is in the tune. I took the tune out this weekend and the truck ran fine there is no issue with the truck shaking when wot between 45-60. This is a diablo issue. Please I am not bashing anything but lies and ignorance. Im sure this guys dont want to be jerked around either. Please do something about this product very soon. I think the months we have endured with this shaking and trying all the updates you guys have made is more then enough for you to pursue the answer. Please again fix this issue. You will have many many happy cutomers that will continue to buy your product.

I hear you loud and clear, but please look what we are up against:

1. Of the 30 or so Rams that have been through here, we have never seen this issue first hand, makes it really hard to diagnose.
2. We have had a tough time getting feedback from the people we did send attempted fixes to.
3. Some people replied that the tune fixes worked perfectly, while others, who were sent the exact same tune, claim it to still be there, how do you quantify that? What course of action would you take based on that data?
4. Most of all, we have sold 1000s of U7137 Predators. When there is a problem, you can be sure we will hear about it, either here, on the phones, or through the retailers. The number of you guys here that seem to have this issue is less than 1% of the total # of tools we have sold, which again, makes it tough to justify the additional R&D required to find a solution, assuming it is tune related.

Mike L will Diablosport refund my money for the product seeing that the problem isn't being fixed? I bought this and am not using it in fear of it destroying my truck. So as of now, its an expensive paper weight. I unfortunately don' t have the time to load, unload, post, etc etc to try and fix the problem. It isn't my responsibility as a customer do this. This is why I am buying it from you. I would like a refund for the tuner and would be more than happy to ship it back to you. I've never bashed the product or company, but I do expect it to work right and it simply isn't . So please, a refund.

you are taking a number of tools when this works on multiple models so instead of still bullsh****** people with more crap. What is the amount of 09-10 dodge trucks with the hemi. There are not thousands maybe hundreds and out of those people atleast half dont even get the tuner to romp on the gas all the time, its for many reasons. So when you find thousands of 09-10 dodge truck users to post up that there tuner is fine then we will see. Until then all i see is alot of unhappy 09-10 users. Also im not trying to call anyone a liar but i have a very serious doubt that you even a had 3-4 09-10 model trucks in your shop. I would really assume just one truck per engine size. Also as far as the number of people complaining it should not matter. Everyone should be heard and a fix tried. Just hearing some of the stuff you just said should make anyone leery of buying anything from diablo ever.

Everyone of us on here paid diablo for a tuner that is supposed to do what it says. When there is a issue Diablo is supposed to do everything in there power to fix it. I do not expect a fix the next day. Im sure no one does. But we do want it worked on and not over looked. I think everyone is about tired of being overlooked or b/s'd. We are all asking for a fix and to just keep us updated. If you have more tunes you would like us to try Im sure alot of us would be happy to try. Untill you get someone in your shop that is having the issue you will not understand whats going on.

Also..... Where are you located at in FL. Is it anywhere close to Eglin AFB.

No, Eglin is in the panhandle as far as i know, about an 8 hour drive from here in West Palm Beach.

I understand your frustration, and I am not here saying we dont care, or that we will not continue to look into this, Im just trying to get you to see it from where we sit. It is not an aeasy situation to deal with.

I will also assure you we have had at least 6-8 09-10 trucks in here, and they are all local, and i am in touch with a few of them regularly, and not one of them has run into this issue. Had any of them reported anything similar before a release, we would have held it up until it was fixed. I think you are belittling the amount of testing we do here, to ensure that sending out a tool that is supposed to work with hundreds of vehicles and thousands of calibration, actually does so. Occasionally, we run into a snag, and we always try to fix it, whenever possible.
Johan spent a week doing almost nothing else here except write custom tunes for a hand full of guys here, only to have some poeple say it worked, other said it didnt, and yet others are claiming that it is a blatant Dodge software issue. Surely you can see why we are not stopping all hands on deck to come to a solution to a problem that we are not even sure is caused by the tunes themselves.

As we get more info, we will continue to investigate. We have had DCX calibration engineers go through our tunes and tell us there are no changes there that would or should cause any sort of issues, so its not like we have not looked into this guys, and we will continue to.

Well that sucks because I will be down there the 23-28th but thats ok. But for now this is all I am asking for keep doing something with trying to resolve this issue, and just please keep us posted. That is my biggest issue. Other then that if I know it is being worked on there is no rush as long as there will be a fix.

I do Still have a question about my truck with getting a tune for making my shifting firmer at part throttle shifting and and WOT shifting. Even my part throttle shifts seem to be shifting as if i was driving a manual. If I could get it to shift pretty fast and alot firmer at WOT anywhere between 5800-6000 that would be great. Also maybe making my throttle a little more sensitive. I could post up my last tune written if you could do something for me. If it requires some kind of money let me know but I have no shops close to me that will do any tuning on dodges. Thanks MIKEL for the posts back.

I can do the throttle response, in fact, if you'd like, i will send you the new update we will be releasing that has the throttle response parameter added in for all truck cals.

As for the firmness and quickness of the shifts, if you guys could see how the dcx strategy is set up, you'd see what wee are up against. There are not even traditional line pressure adjustments like one would expect to see in an electronic controlled trans, thus it has been a tough tranny calibration to figure out, but its still something we are looking into.

Is this the reason this truck shifts nothing like my 05. There is just no comparison even my dads 05 with 35" tires will bark into second. I just feel this truck is more then capable of it with more power.

Would you like me to post up my last tune written. You could play with the firmness and speed of the trans shifting if you want to give it a go. here is my last tune written anyway just in case. I would appreciate the try even if it is a failure. I just know this truck has more in the shifting areas.

YES I have the latest crom downloaded from your site, and NO I don't have the time to do the R&D for YOU!!!
I work 60 to 70 hours a week and spend another 12 hours on the road to and from work. I absolutly don't have the time do the leg work for your R&D, loading and unloading tunes into the truck is a slow and time consuming process and I don't have any time to spare.
I work damn hard for my money, point blank! So when I buy something that isn't doing what its intended to do for or has adverse affects, I exspect some sort solution to the problem! I know your going to tell me its my truck again, but how is that so? The only time I have the shudder in the transmission is when I load your product into my truck? You have common sence right? What does that sound like to you??
As far as seeing your point of view... I WON'T nor should you even ask anyone on this forum to. You didn't buy a product from me remember? Its the other way around. I have plenty of experience in retail, service work, and dealing with customers in general. The idea is to help the customer with a solution, not make excuses.
As for a refund, pretty sure I can answer that on my own. My 30 day warranty was allmost up by the time a got back from working out of town... no dice there. Your product carries a two year warranty against deffects in materials and workmanship... pretty sure thats worded that way to create a nice little loop hole for your companies benefit... I mean the nice little hunk of plastic is well crafted, but not the tunes it holds and I bet they are the problem not covered by warranty. Thanks.

SO. Where do I go from here? Real advice please.

So where do I go from here?

Mike,

I notice there is a newest update for the U7137 that was posted on 1/10/11 but is the same update number u7137-9r09.crom (2763k) that I had updated too back few months ago thinking maybe around Oct. Is this still same update or is this the newest and what is added since the last update with some number. May not be place thread to ask this question but I also keep having the tranny problem so this is the only thread I pay attention too so I just thought I ask it here.

Thanks

I also have the 40-50mph accleration shudder. I have tried all three tunes and each one will replicate the issue. I return to stock and no shudder. Not trying to add to the problem, just looking for a fix...if there is one?
