Thanks! it works good on mine.

I went to change the tranny settings and change to a different octane level and I had to tune back to stock and then retune the tranny settings and new octane level. Other than that the 9t07d worked for me.

I dunno. Weird!! I just looked and your PCM & TCM #'s are exactly the same as mine.
You would think the same Croms should either work for both of us or not work for both of us??

Mike,
Is the crom on the download page the latest version with the fix in it? Or are you sending them out on a case by case basis?

TooCoolHemi wrote:Just thought this was worth mentioning.ON my 05 i have found that sometime's the tune dosen't load properly. If your radio clock dosen't reset to 12:00 or your overhead temp gauge's is reading way high and not changing, then the tune did'nt take.Even thow the DSP say's it's in the truck. You can usually tell the truck dosen't seem to be just right.
the headlights should flash at the end of loading the tune too.
I thought something was wrong the 1st time I tuned my truck at night and the lights flashed.
Called a Diablo tech, and that's exactly what should happen. Final countdown, 1,2- lights flash- clock goes to 12:00, then tune loaded message.
TooCoolHemi wrote:I've found that starting the truck and letting it charge and come to temp. before loading a tune help's avoid getting a bad tune load. This may be part of the reason why the crom work's on some and not other's.Has anyone else exprienced this?
yes, I have had tunes that didn't finish writing, but there has always been a "failure to finish loading the tune" message.
My solution, which has worked every time, is:
hook a 15 amp battery charger to my truck before loading a tune. keeps the volt meter near the middle and maintains enough voltage to keep the U7137 happy.

Downloaded the one on page 16, 9t07d. seems to work real well. I haven't driven it enough to be sure, but it seemed to have improved bottom end. Can anyone help with the line pressure function. what are reasonable adjustments?

try 20% more tranny line pressure and see if shifts are firmer. haven't tried this Crom yet, but Diablo isn't going to put a bigger increase in a production Crom than the tranny can reasonably handle, so you could max out the adjustment. CMR is a different story........

at wide open throttle I already get big second gear rubber in tow/haul. never tried it in normal mode. I'll play around with it. should the two lines have the same increase? there is a front and rear. I noticed after data logging the st knock sensors weren't pulling timing. i am going to try the 93 tune.

Wait yours has a line pressure adjustment? Thats one thing that mine does not have.... Mikel is that only for the 07's up or should the 05's have that feature too?

White lightning funny you should suggest that. That happened with the battery charger hooked up.This was the first time i tried loading a tune with it hooked up.No failure screen, the DSP said the tuned had loaded.I didn't realize that something wasn't right till i took it for a drive. At 55 mph the truck was in 3rd gear and wouldn't shift.I let off the gas a little and still no shift.I let all the way off the gas and it finally shifted.Knew something wasn't right so i headed home.On the way there i noticed the clock didn't reset. That told me that the tune didn't load properly.Reloaded the tune (without charger)and everything was back to normal. My question now was it the DSP or the PCM.One or the other seem's to be voltage sensitive.

That's got to do with tire pressure sensor's on the jeep's i believe.

I think both lines should get the same increase. Not sure, PM Johan, he should know what works best.
I tried 9t07d last night. It has throttle adjustment and shift adjustment, but no tranny line pressure adjustment. I wonder if '05's don't get the line pressure feature?
