I have the f file loaded to the trinity. when I hooked it up to the truck I saw the crom for 2012 gas hemi when I went to load the 87 octane tune it says "this tool appears to contain an original back up file. you MUST restore the original back up file before you upgrade your tools software" HOW DO I DO THIS?

So far so good, any way to kill that dam eco icon?

Did you buy the tool used? The original owner never restored his backup. That tool is locked. $179 to unlock, or find the guy and get a refund. If you bought is new, go to Option, Last Tune Written. What does it say? Does the VIN match yours?

Eco light just means your driving efficiently. You can turn MDS off before loading the tune

Your tools just in diablos demo mode. Plig into pc for power, tuning, scroll to restore original

Thank you Mattman13 I think this was it. My trinity is brand new. I guess i was messing with it in Demo mode.

For you 12s that have the tune loaded are you able to make 1-2 and 2-3 shift changes from your trinity?

ran a 7.1 0-60 on a modified 87 tune, took off mds and TC, with about 28 gallons of fuel and a crew cab. k&n 63 is my only mod. i think im going to like this...

i got the 93 tune loaded in my truck and everything is working as it should.. only thing i had to do is a calibration update..too bad its friday afternoon and there are 6 billion cars on the road.. cant even stretch it out

Fails to change tire size every time.. TM noticeably different, driving in slap shift mode the tranny shifts within milliseconds of me slapping it over.. Over all happy. Getting it to change my tire size and read what's causing my ESC light to be on would be major +'s

I cannot even get past plugging the Trinity into the PC. I have download the DS Downloader and the Drivers, but no window is popping up saying found new hardware like it is supposed to. Also, when I plug in the Trinity it goes into demo mode everytime. Please help!!!

Just an aftermarket stereo and some offroad lights that are powered off. I talked to you on the phone earlier and we decided that it must be sent in for repairs... Sucks for me.

I updated everything but there is still no 2012 dodge ram 1500 under the vehicle type.... and also the found new hardware never came up when installing the trinity, it just automatically did it...
