Brian,
Installed the new crom then loaded the 100hp tune in the truck...........

The surging and jerking seems to have gone away, I did notice that the shift points seem to be different 1st to 2nd shifts about 3500 and the rest about 3000...

As far as the power it does seem better but not like the old calid with your tuner.....

What should the shift points be on 2003 F-250 6.0 PSD?

Thanks,

So you're saying it flairing? OR you just noticed a difference? What was the old shift point?

Dont understand what you mean by "flairing"........

Just a little better than it was but not even close to the old tune with the old calid.

I dont remember what the shift points where with the old calid and tune, that's why I was asking what they should be?

Brian,
If I where to get ahold of another PCM from a late model 2003 with an older calid that had not been updated to the latest calid could I get the truck back to where it was?

OK Brian.........

I have now been running the crom you sent me over a month ago and the fuel mileage has gone down from about 16.8 to 13.2 useing the 100hp tune.

Is there something else or another update that will improve the fuel mileage?

Thank you,

I would try the economy tune for better mileage, not the race tune...

Brian,
I just got back from a 965 mile trip and averaged 18.1 mpg on the highway running around 75 mph using the 60hp tune you sent me U7165_pcm_6_0-9t06a.crom, the 100hp tune only gets around 13.2.

In the past I would get my best mileage using the 100hp tune besides best performance.

I have seen a new crom posted on another thread that addresses some of the same issues I was having, do I have the latest crom available?

I dont see anything posted in the download section of this site so it's a little confusing to know what is the lastest crom to be using.

Thanks,

9r07 is the latest... The 100hp is not supposed to be getting the best mileage...

Thank you, I will post beck my feed back on this new release....

Brian,
If I where to get ahold of another PCM from a late model 2003 with an older calid that had not been updated to the latest calid could I get the truck back to where it was or would I need to just get the FICM recalibrated?

Please reply.

There is a place in Atlanta that will recalibrate the FICM will my tuner still work if I do this and will I still use the same crom r07?

What do I need to know?

Sorry for all the questions but I am trying to get back the truck I purchased......

Thank you,
