New beta for unsupported 04 and 08, tune changes as well

I thought the whole 2nd prime delete thing was not working for some. Like killing trans or shifting really weird from 1,2,2P, 3,4 etc.

The 2nd prime delete worked for some guys running the original crom. With the 9t02d beta it didn't work right. Maybe with this new update it will work again, but I won't be trying it...

Have you guys made any progress with 2nd prime delete or find out why it didn't work with the 9t02d crom?

The '08 is the one that I finally got tuned today. No tuner or any mods prior to this one and it is a big difference.
The '03 has a hard time with the idle right now but were working on it.

Yes but i am looking into something here on that, if you want send me your last tune written and your tcm calid and i can hook you up with some custom tunes for now.

2005 Hemi Ram

Ok, i have a big problem. I downloaded the new crom file and it does not recognize the key cycles again just like the last update you gave for the '05 guys. The problem i have now is that it will not restore the original backup, after it says "turn key on" it says it is "unable to restore original backup" or it says "cannot intall on more than one unit" (or something like that). My truck runs and drives, so can you please explain to me what program is on the truck now after everything failed? Also, how am i going to get my original backup back. I really like this programmer, but i am ready to smash the damn thing.

dodge4x4810, sorry to hear about your problems I'm sure that Johan will be along in a bit to help you out but until then did you back up your stock tune to your computer? I hope so, and if so then all is not lost, you will be able to get it back into the Predator (if it isn't in there already), just be patient and take solice that you are able to drive your pickup until Johan can get you straightend out......

Checking this out as we speak, the 05 i had here (AER david) did not show any of these issues, did you adjust anything on top of the predator tune, if so what, so i can try to replicate.

Sorry to hear that you are still having issues to flash your truck.
One thing is different here. You can't get to start flashing at all. The not seen key cycle at then end and getting a fail message after you get the message "Turn key ON" is a complitely different issue.
What was the state of your tool when you donwloaded the new crom (what is the version now? 9t2?).
After you donwloaded this crom you say "and it does not recognize the key cycles again just like the last update", does this means that you installed the tune and all the way at the end stayed in the message
"Please, Turn the key off, then on again. Do NOT start the engine."?

Is the tool ine recovery now, when you plug it in?

Yeah, when i try to restore the original backup it failed after "turn key ON". I have tried turning the key on and off a few times on the screen and it still doesn't work. By "recovery" do you mean when you first turn it on it tells you that the original backup needs to be installed, if so, then yes it is in recovery mode. Can you also explain what tune is exactly on my truck right now? I started doing the 93 tune, so did it just do the PCM part of that?

ok, so after you got the new crom you never actually went through the whole process, becouse it is failing right at the begginig, you have being in recovery since you had the issue with not seen the key cycle at the end correct? (what version are you now?)

sorry to ask you all this questions but I want to know the exact facts
if you are in recovery and get an error right after you have press on close button in Turn key ON message, you might have a hardware issue in the tool, please RMA to the tool for repair. Johan will let you know the process.

ok, so am i screwed at this point if i do not have a backup on my computer? I have the original tune + modify. I think the modify is just my tire size adjust. What does RMA mean? I mail the tool back to you? Is there anything else that i could possibly try. Oh ya, an have the newest beta update on the tool now, because i cannot do anything on the dsdownload software because the tool says it still has the backup on it.
