Sorry for all of the confusion......

i figured it out. i got it to work

i was using a Windows 7 computer. i am now using a vista computer and it worked perfectly

No it does not.....

But to update you i did figure it out. it was a driver problem, it said that the driver was loaded successfully and the tool looked to be connected but it did not work correctly. it is now working on Windows 7 RC 7011
